rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #300

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

Welcome to the rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge!
This week, it's simple stamping! I'll be the first to tell you it's
not as asy as it seems! I am constantly wanting to add more
layers, designer paper and embellishments. It's so hard not to
want to add that extra texture and sparkle!

But I did! AND the Flowers of Beaurty stamp set made
it SO EASY! Simple stamping is perfect for when you need a super-quick
card or you are running out of time and need to make a large batch real
quick! Either way, these types of cards can be just as pretty
as the cards with all the added "bling"!

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Flowers of Beauty, Unbounded Love
Ink: Old Olive, Gorgeous Grape, Crumb Cake
Paper: Thick Basic White
Accessories: Water Painters, Wink of Stella

Have fun creating some SIMPLE STAMPING soo!

We're playing with color for this week's
rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge! Select 3-4
colors from the list above and use it in your project!

I love the Patchwork Pieces dies - they are so fun for creating
colorful backgrounds! It was a perfect fit for this card as it has a bit
of a retro vibe, don't you think?! It's so feminine
and sweet for a young lady. Here's a little tip: to create custom
colored Baker's Twine, add stripes using Stampin' Blends markers!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Just My Type
Ink: Versamark, Gray Granite, Bubble Bath
Paper: Basic White, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, Soft Seafoam

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #242

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

I'm so glad you could join me for this week's
rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge! It's all about
simple stamping today, but there are always
ways to add a technique or fun fold to step it up
without overwhelming the beginner stamper. Simple
stamping is for all levels of paper crafters!

I combined the stencils with a little masking to
give the illusion of layering - what do you think?

I started by creating a mask of the envelope image onto a
piece of copy paper using Smoky Slate ink and cut it out.
Next, I stamped the envelope image onto the card front using
Smoky Slate ink. I then set the mask on top of the stamped image
and placed the stencil on top of the mask. Using a blending brush,
I lightly added Pool Party ink around the stamped image and removed
the stencil.  Keeping the envelope mask on top, I stamped the mailbox
directly on top using Smoky Slate ink. You'll see once you remove
the mask, it looks like the mail box is behind the letter. Masking
is so fun! I completed the card with the little hearts and sentiment.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Stamped with Love
Ink: Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Real Red
Paper: Basic White, Real Red
Accessories: Four Square Decorative Masks, Blending Brush, Stylish Shapes dies

Thanks for joining me today- I hope you give simple stamping a try!

Thank you for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics
Weekly Challenge! It's all about playing with words today
so lets have some fun! How can you create using words?

I like to use alphabets - they make it so easy to personalize
a project or create a word whenever you need one!

Here, I added a simple HELLO along with the gorgeous
flower from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set. So quick and easy!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Everlasting Beauty
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Pebbled Path
Paper: Basic White, PebbledPath
Accessories: Waterpainter, Alphabet a la Mode dies, Basic Rhinestones
Stampin' Blends: Flirty Flamingo, Bubble Bath, Soft Seafoam

I hope you get a little inspired to play along today!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #240

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Thanks so much for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics
Weekly Challenge! There is lots of possibilities with this week's
sketch so lets get right to it!

I love the detail in the Labels Aglow dies. Although
originally it was created for use for the Christmas
holiday, I think it also works great as fireworks for
the 4th of July! This card has a hodgepodge of
different products that I combined and I really like
how it shows how well our products coordinate
no matter the occasion!

One last tip when working with the Alphabet a la Mode dies -
to make a letter or number smaller, trim off the bottom
to the desired length and then reattach the base back to the bottom.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Alphabest, Share a Milkshake, Biggest Wish
Ink: Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Craft White
Paper: Basic White, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy
Accessories: Labels Aglow dies, Give it a Whirl dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Alphabet a la Mode dies, Basic Rhinestones, Silver Elegant Trim

I hope you'll find this week's sketch a fun and easy way to get creative!

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome back to another rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge!
This week, it's a fun sketch that gives you
lots of options for creativity! I hope you play along!

Recognize this stamp set? It's the Celebrate with Tags from
last year's Holiday mini catalog! It's making it's return in the
upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog so I thought
it would be the perfect fit for this sketch! I saved the little
punchouts from the candle die to create the colorful polka-dots
at the bottom of the card. It's like confetti! Look for the stamp set on
page 45 of the NEW Annual catalog!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Celebrate with Tags
Ink: Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic White, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Parakeet Party, So Saffron, Perfectly Penciled DSP

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

I'm so glad you could join me for this  rubberFUNatics
Weekly Challenge! It's a Simple Stamping challenge
which means for me, it's not simple! haha!
I find the simplest of stamping is hard for me because I always
find that I need to keep adding - layers, designer papers, embellishments, etc.
I think I got it this time - of course I needed a little bling!

I started with a very faint sponge of Pool Party ink onto the
card base using a blending brush. Then I stamped the cherry images
and sentiment and finished it off with a couple of Basic Rhinestones.
Simple enough??? I think so! A great way to make multiples in no time!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Sweetest Cherries
Ink: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Sweet Sorbet, Pool Party
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Blending Brush

I hope you try some Simple Stamping for yourself!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #220

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

The first challenge of 2023! A simple sketch
that has lots of opportunities to use leftover punch/die cut
shapes as well as scrap cardstock/designer paper pieces.
Mix and match patterns and colors and have fun
creating all different combinations!

I kept the basic layout of the sketch but moved the
pieces around to change it up a bit.

It was very difficult to photograph the background up close.
I just couldn't get the right lighting on this cloudy day.
I started with rubbing Tahitian Tide ink lightly
over the background using a blending brush. I then stamped the sentiment
from top to bottom using Versamark ink and heat set with
clear embossing powder. It's subtle and adds a little texture, too!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Go To Greetings
Ink: Tahitian Tide
Paper: Basic White, Tahitian Tide, Tahitian Tide DSP
Accessories: Heat tool, Clear embossing powder, Basic Rhinestones, Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends, Beautiful Shapes dies, Brilliant Wings dies

I hope you'll find this a fun sketch to create with!
