A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - 10 Years of Growth

The March Paper Pumpkin kit is twice 

the fabulousness! In honor of our 10 year

anniversary, this month's kit includes TWO

stamp sets! It's DOUBLE the creativity

and the team is ready to share some alternative

projects to help inspire you!

My faux floating frames project feaures the 

plant and pot bulder *BONUS* stamp set. 

I began with (2) 4 1/2" x 6 3/4" clear window sheets.

I then stamped the images onto Basic White cardstock using

Tuxedo Black ink and colored them using Gray Granite, Shaded

Spruce and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. I fussy cut the images

and adhered them to the window sheets using multi-purpose

liquid glue and added Basic Black frames embossed with the

Timber embossing folder. Finally, I used the gold Simply

Elegant Trim to hang.

APPT February Blog Hop - Key to My Heart

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! 

This month, we are sharing alternative projects featuring

the Janaury 2023 Key to my Heart kit!

My projects are focused around the stamp set that

is included in the kit. It shows that just because the

contents of the kits are gone, you can still get lots of 

use out from the stamp set, too!

More of a masculine feel, this card uses all the little

images combined with the heart punch pack.

I found this felt doily at the dollar store. I stamped the hearts

directly on top of the felt doily using Craft White ink. It makes a great 

Valentine home decor piece or topper for a gift!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing January Blog Hop

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - 

Good Things Come in Small Packages!

This kit is filled with little boxes perfect for giving

gifts cards/cash or small treats. The team is ready

with some fun alternate ideas for you using your kit

contents. We hope our projects inspire you

to get creative with your kit, too!

My project is a tag holder. It's a great way to keep 

tags organized and close at hand! 

I covered the entire crate using the kit pieces 

and tied the crate with a White Frayed ribbon bow.

To create the individual boxes, I simply cut off along the top edge of 

(4) boxes and assembled the boxes according to the instructions. 

Once the boxes were all together, I wrapped the boxes with the 

same wraps included in the kit. I added a label to the front

of each box so it will be easy to find the tag(s) I need. 

The tags were created using the Taylor Made Tags dies 

along with stamps and embellishments from the kit.

They are all organized and ready to add to a gift bag

when the occasion arises! Would make a great gift, too!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing - From the North Pole

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the November Paper Pumpkin Thing

Blog Hop! The team has lots of fun alternative projects

to share with you today featuring contents from the From the

North Pole tag kit. We hope you find a little inspiration

with these projects to create some alternatives of your own!

For this first card, I combined the stamp set from this kit as well as

the coordinating stamp set from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.

There are so many more opportunities when you combine both 

these coordinating sets!

For this card, I used the BACKSIDE of the glitter snowflake

as a mask to rub on a little Blushing Bride ink using a blending brush.

Once that was done, I added speckles using a water painter

and Cherry Cobbler ink.

I came across this idea when I was scrolling through

Pinterest. I couldn't find instructions so I had to

wing-it as I went along. It's a gift and tasty treat in one!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing November Blog Hop - Ho Ho Ho

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop 

featuring the October 2022 kit - Ho, Ho, Ho!

This kit is filled with everything you need to create 

these Santa-inspired cards, but the team is here to share

some fun alternate ideas featuring items from the kit.

I hope you find a few tip or ideas to inspire yourself

to create your own a one-of-a-kind project!

As you can see, this kit has lots of fun embellishments

in addition to the adorable stamp images and colorful paper pieces!

I rearranged the pieces to create a fun pocket

to hold a tag/gift card/cash. 

A fun idea for a teacher, secret Santa gift, teen or co-worker.

This was fun to make! I used all the sentiments in the kit

colors to stamp the background. Once finished, I added 

some speckles using Sweet Sorbet ink and water painter.

Then I cut a circle from the card front as the base for

all the little holiday elements.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing October Blog Hop - Spooky Treats

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the October Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop where

we are sharing alternative projects featuring the October kit

SpookyTreats. The team has created some cute and fun 

ideas that your little ghosts and gobblins will love!

Look at all the pieces that are included in the kit:

The kit makes these adorable treat boxes but I decided to 

create some cards using the same pieces - take a look:

For the card on the left, I stamped directly onto the black 

tissue paper that the kit was wrapped in. I stamped the images using 

Craft White ink and let it dry completely. Once dried, I crumbled it

up into a ball and then opened it back up and glued it to a Basic White

panel. I created a shaker using the papers from the kit as well. I cut up

some of the papers and also used a 1/8" hole punch and the stars from the

Witch Hat builder punch.  A fun interactive card!

For the card on the right, I cut up strips of the different papers

and adhered them to a die cut circle to give the look of a patchwork

quilt. On the solid papers, I stamped the inages from the stamp set

onto the papers using Versamark ink to keep the images subtle.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing - Sweet Sunflowers

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to A Paper Pumpkin Thing August Blog Hop - Sweet

Sunflowers! We are so excited to share some alternate ideas featuring 

this month's amazing kit! 

This month' s kit is filled with gorgeous watercolored papers and envelopes 

as well as (2) ink spots, embellishments and a FREE GIFT!

There is so much to love about this kit!

Here are my alternative projects:

I used the free gift as a mask to add

the Stampin' Paste on to my card base. 

Once dried, I added some speckles using my

waterpainter and Soft Suede ink. 

I stamped the bouquet images onto the card front using

Versamark and clear embossing powder. I then

die cut the center of the card using the Stylish Shapes

circle die and added it to the front along with pieces

from the kit.

Finally, I created a tag from the green card

using the Taylor Made tag die and the kit contents.

I added the tag to this little sunflower growing

kit as a fun party favor thank you gift.

This kit was PERFECT for my trip to the Butterfly 

Wonderland! I cut the card panels apart and they became 

the backdrop for the photos. Just a few of the kit embellishments

along with the Playful Alphabet dies for a quick and easy layout.

A great wat to preserve your memeories, too!

Blog Hop - Lots of Pun! The sentiments all have a fun bit of humor

with sweet little coordinating images that is sure to bring a smile to everyone!

The team is ready with some alternate ideas for using

your December kit. There are lots of pieces, so there are lots of ideas! 

When I first saw the egg image, I thought it looked more like

a flower than an egg, so I went along with the flower idea for this card.

I snipped the leaves off the cherries and tucked them in behind each flower.

This is a treat I created by cutting a banner from

the yellow gingham card. I folded the banner over 

the top of the package and added tear tape to secure - YUM!
