Masking Paper Fun!

 Good Morning, Stampers!

If you love crisp, white borders, Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper is your go-to crafting buddy. Besides its usual uses (layered stamping, stenciling, and masking partial images), it also makes framing a stamped focal image a breeze!

1. Add 3/8" Masking paper strips along all (4) sides of a Basic White cardstock panel.

2. Add Petal Pink ink using a blending brush. Remove the Masking Paper.

3. Stamp the Floral Vignette in Flirty Flamingo ink. 

4. Finish card as desired. 

It's that simple!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #388

There’s something wonderfully freeing about taking a simple shape and letting it bloom into something unexpected. This week’s rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge is all about Fun With Shapes, and I'm spotlighting one of the most versatile shapes in the craft garden: a simple circle.

Circles are everywhere in paper crafting — layers, windows, focal points, shaker frames — but today I'm giving it a fresh twist. With the card on the right, I took a circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies and cut it directly into the designer paper and simply popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a sentiment. With the card on the left, I die cut the circle and then sliced the circle up into strips and popped the pieces up with Stampin' Dimensionals and finished it off with a sentiment. I love how simple these cards are and these gorgeous Scenic Coast designer papers worked perfectly!

Some cards feel like a quiet breath of spring, and today’s project is exactly that — soft florals, gentle colors, and a sentiment that wraps around you like a warm hug. I’m excited to share this one with you because it features a sneak peek of the NEW Heirloom Boutique bundle and came together in the sweetest, most organic way.

The background is a field of hand‑stamped blooms, each one outlined with that sketchy, heirloom‑boutique charm. I kept the centers a warm golden tone and tucked in fresh green leaves to give the whole panel a soft, botanical feel. It’s the kind of pattern that looks effortless but instantly elevates the card.

To anchor everything, I added a strip of green patterned paper — just enough contrast to ground the design without stealing the spotlight. Over that sits a stitched rectangle sentiment panel, crisp and clean, carrying the heartfelt message:
