Control Freaks October Blog Hop - Gratitude

   Hello, Stampers!

Welcome to the Control Freaks October
Blog Hop! This month, we are shaing our gratitude
with all of you because we couldn't be more grateful
to have you join us each month!

Whether you are arriving from Bree's blog or just starting
out here, the design team is so excited to share
their creations with you!

I came across these sweet little Acorn Boxes on
Pinterest recently and knew they would look
adorable in our Gilded Autumn designer papers - what do you think??
How pretty they would be as placecards/favors on the Thanksgiving table?!

The larger box is the original size of the pattern.
The smaller box was printed at 50%.

For the tag, I first stamped the sentiment on Early Espresso.
I then stamped the leaf onto the Very Vanilla cardstock using Versamark
ink and then cut it out.  It gives it lines on the leaves a little softer look
and doesn't overpower the sentiment.

Either way, I'm sure you could fill
them with something tasty for everyone to enjoy!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Gather Together
Ink: Versamark, Early Epsresso
Paper: Very Vanilla, Gilded Autumn, Brushed Metallic Gold and Copper
Accessories: Copper ribbon, Cinnamon Cider ribbon, Gathered leaves, Acorn trinkets

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop - Halloween Favor

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary design
team is sharing some fun Halloween
Favors with you this week!

This is a fun idea for smaller spaces. Fun for
a party - it doubles as a decoration and favor in one!

I started with a 5" orange styrofoam pumpkin.
I painted it white with a brown glaze to showcase the
Magic in this Night designer papers. I used lollipop sticks to
hold the banner along the top and covered mini candy
bars with the designer papers and little spooky
embellishments. A few glue dots on each candy bar were used to
stick them to the pumpkin. This size works well for a table top, but
you can easily make a larger version for bigger candy bars - even using
a real pupmkin, too! A fun contact-less option!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Hallows Night Magic, Flight of Fancy
Ink: Whisper White, Tuxedo Black
Paper: Magic in this Night DSP, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Brushed Copper Metallic
Accessories: Halloween Magic dies, Playful Alphabet dies, Trio of Tags dies
Stampin' Blends: Rich Razzleberries, Smoky Slate, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight
NON-SU: 5" foam pumpkin,  lollipop sticks, mini candy bars, White acrylic paint, brown glaze

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I'm so glad you could join us for this week's Color

I dug out out the Trio of Tags from the Annual Catalog. Sadly,

this set hasn't seen ink in a long time - it was long overdue!

I think it worked out well with the little jar from the Jar of

Flowers bundle. A little more sweet and a lot less scary!

Stamps: Trio of Tags, Jar of Flowers, Celebration Tidings

Ink: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Jet Black Stazon, Blackberry Bliss

Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Vellum, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Plaid Tidings

Watercolor Embossed Flowers

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Dig out your heat tool - we are embossing! Today's project features a combination of Gold and Whisper White embossing powders with the dainty floral images and elegant sentiment from the Last a Lifetime stamp set.  I love the softness of  watercoloring the flowers using Water Painters and ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. It gives a little more rustic/vintage feel and compliments the sentiment nicely.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Last a Lifetime
Ink: Versamark,  Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz
Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Heat Tool, Whisper White embossing powder, Gold embossing powder, Stitched Shapes dies, Gold Metallic Edge ribbon, Gold pearls, Lasting Elegance dies, Water Painters

Dollar Store Stampin' Up! Style Curvy Framed Art

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I found these cute 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" frames in the frames
section at the dollar store this past week.
I really love the beaded handle!!!

It was the perfect opportunity to try out my new Curvy
Keepsakes stamp and bundle set. I love using natual
elements for the holidays!

The Curvy Keepsakes stamp set, bundle and designer
series papers will be available November 1st in my
online store. I also added the star from the Stitched Star
dies and the gold hoop embellishment as well as a few
extra festive ribbons! A little tip: I added stripes to my
Whisper White Baker's Twine using my Shaded Spruce
marker. It's an easy way to tie all the colors and elements
of the project together.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Curvy Christmas
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Real Red, Shaded, Shaded Spruce
Paper: Shimmer White, Brushed Metallic, Shaded Spruce, Classic Christmas DSP
Accessories: Real Red ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine,
Stitched Stars dies, Gold Hoop embellishments, Curvy dies, Real Red Rhinestones, Blender Pen
Frame: Dollar Tree
