 side of the season with a Summer Fun theme, and my project is bursting with fruity joy!

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about summer fruit—picnics, farmers

 markets, and those first slices of watermelon that mark the start of the season. 

I wanted to capture that feeling in a simple, modern way, so I reached for 

my die‑cut circles and transformed them into a watercolor fruit medley!

1. 1. Score a piece of 7" x 5" Crumb Cake Cardstock at 3-1/2" and fold it in half to create a 3-1/2" x 5" card.
2. 2. Stamp the frame in Pecan Pie ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and die cut it. Use masking paper to cover the center of the frame while stamping the texture image on the frame.
3. 3. Die cut the violets, stems, and leaves from Very Vanilla Cardstock and color them using Stampin’ Blends.
4. 4. Add a small piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock behind each flower so it peeks through the center.
5. 5. Stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and cut it out.
6. 6. Tie a Linen Thread bow and assemble the card.

This week’s rubberFUNatics Challenge brought a breath of spring right into my craft room! I couldn’t resist pairing the layout with the delicate Lily of the Valley stamp set — those tiny bell blossoms always remind me of quiet mornings in the garden. Sketches like this one are my favorite creative playgrounds — they give just enough structure to spark ideas while leaving room for personality to bloom!
