I'm A Guest Blogger!

Good Morning, Stampers!

I am so thrilled to have been asked to be the Guest Blogger on Pink Paper Bakery today! ! I want to share with you, a card I designed featuring the Affection Collection stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I just fell in love when I first saw this stamp set – it is just my kind of style!

To create this card, I started with a Very Vanilla cardstock base. I embossed a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations cardstock with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Next, I sanded it using a sanding block to give it a bit of a distressed look. I then adhered the piece to the card front. With the Hearts Collection framelit, I cut a heart on the right side of the panel and adhered it to the card front. With Pink Pirouette ink, I stamped the oval image thru the panel and onto the card front. On top of that, I stamped the Love sentiment in Early Espresso ink. For the left side of the card, I stamped the friend sentiment in Early Espresso ink and the flag image in Pink Pirouette onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Carefully, I cut them out and adhered them to the card along with a piece of lace trim and glue dots. To finish off the card, I tied a bow in the Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon and adhere it to the card with a glue dot.
