Thanks so much for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics 

Weekly Challenge! I'm creating around this sunburst design.

Grab some of your favorite pattern papers and

play along with me!

The technique starts with strips of designer papers. The length

and width of the strips can be any size so it's a great way

to use up some of the leftover strips you may have. 

I cut the strips to 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" for this card.

All you will need to do is cut 7-10 strips the same size.

Then, cut each of the strips from one corner to the other.

Next, cut the size panel you would like to use to layer

your papers. Mine measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". I begin in the

middle and start adhering the papers. Continue until the

entire panel is covered.

Next, take your scissors and trim off all the excess papers

that are overhanging. At this point, you can adhere it directly to 

the card base or add another layer if desired. I opted to 

add this to a Perennial Postage layer along with a

piece of Daffodil Delight ribbon tied in a bow.

    

I finished off the card with the stamped tag in Versamrk onto 

Mossy Meadow cardstock along with a few flowers and

gold pearls. Watch for the NEW Paper Tags bundle

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #618

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge!

This week, we are challenged to create a fun fold card!

These are always so much fun and always get a "wow"! 

This is such an easy fun fold to create!

I began with a Basic White card base 5 1/4" x 8"

I scored it at 2 " & 4". Then I folded the card in half

and cut (2) lines 1 1/2" apart. (note: this can be any size)

Open the card and push the cut portion twoard the center

and fold the card. Adhere the card base to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" 

panel and decorate as you like!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #617

This week, the Paper Craft Crew is creating Easter tags

using the sketch from page 12 of the mini catalog.

These are great for Easter baskets or gift bags, but you

can also make it the focal point of a card or 

scrapbook page, too!

I made the sweet little bunny from the Storybook Friends

bundle into a chocolate bunny using Early Espresso

cardstock and craft white ink. I added multiple layers using the 

Timeless Plaid designer paper and the Storybook Life and

NEW Paper Tags bundle coming in May to my online store!

dies. I love when I can find new ideas to use what I already

have - It's a lot easier to justify a purchase! I just added little

toppers to these mini jelly bean treats. They'll be so cute

inside all the Easter baskets this year!

Over the Top Tag

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Do you like creating tags? What about an Over The Top tag? This is an over-sized tag (approx. 6") that is "stepped-up" with a little more bling and pizzazz and layers. This tag features the Beautiful Butterflies bundle along with the Round We Go dies. l really love all the texture and dimension with the hybrid embossing folder and rosette. The Metallic Enamel lets you add lots of shimmer and shine, too!. This would be so pretty tied onto the side of a gift bag in lieu of a card, don't you think??!!

Step up your dry embossing by adding a little ink! The card was created using the Beautiful Butterflies hybrid bundle by embossing a Basic Black panel and rubbing Craft White ink all over the top using a sponge dauber. That's it! The ink highlights the embossing giving it a unique distressed look. No one needs to know just how quick and easy it is!

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - CASING Melissa

Welcome to the Create with Friends Saturday

Blog Hop! We are continuing on the "CASE the 

Designer" and today it's ME!! 

The card I CASED was a big hit with my Kits to Go

last Fall so I thought I would give it a try using the 

Storybook Friends bundle! I stamped the images

 onto the Lost Lagoon cardstock using Craft White

ink and heat set it. Then I took my light Lost Lagoon 

Stampin' Blends and traced around the imaged. I really

like the added dimension it gives.
