Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #692

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

It’s time for another Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge, and this week we’re playing with a beautiful color challenge!

There’s something so special about creating with a rich fall color palette.
Deep, earthy tones instantly bring to mind crisp autumn days, colorful leaves, pumpkins, and cozy gatherings with family and friends.

For this card, I wanted to embrace that warm, harvest-inspired feeling by combining several rich shades throughout the design. The deeper tones add warmth and contrast, while the lighter touches keep the card from feeling too heavy. I love how the colors work together to create a cozy, welcoming look that feels perfect for Thanksgiving.

Fall is such a wonderful season for playing with deep, rich, and earthy colors, and a color challenge is the perfect excuse to experiment with combinations you might not normally reach for. Sometimes three colors are all you need to create a beautiful seasonal card!

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Soiree Salutations
Ink: Pecan Pie
Paper: Very Vanilla, Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze, Golden Glow

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #689

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to another Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge! This week, we’re celebrating one of my favorite times of year with a Fall Theme! Fall crafting is all about warm colors, pumpkins, cozy patterns, and those little touches that make you want to curl up with a cup of something yummy. So, for this week's challenge, I created a card with a soft, vintage-inspired fall feel.

For my card, I wanted to step away from the traditional bright oranges and reds and instead use a softer palette of crumb cake, pecan, and warm golden tones. The result is a fall card that feels rustic and cozy!

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Thanks and Giving
Ink: Pecan Pie, Golden Glow
Paper: Basic White, Pecan Pie, Golden Glow, Glow of Harvest DSP
Accessories: Perinneal Postage dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Golden Glow Stampin' Blends, Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends

CASING the Holiday Catalog

 Good Morning, Stampers!

There’s something about Thanksgiving crafting that makes me want to pull out all the warm, cozy colors—and this card definitely fits the mood!

For today’s project, I took inspiration from the Holiday Catalog, CASEing the card layout shown on page 12. I loved the overall design so much that I wanted to recreate the look with my own twist.

I’ve put together a step-by-step tutorial for this Thanksgiving card, including the measurements, supplies, and instructions you need to recreate it and I'm offering it FREE in next week's weekly newsletter. If you’re not already on my newsletter list, now is the perfect time to join! I’ll send the tutorial straight to your inbox so you can create this beautiful fall card yourself. JOIN HERE

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge!
It's so hard to believe we will be celebrating Thanksgiving next week!
This year has certainly flown by! We have so much to
be thankful for and the theme for this week is to celebrate
Thanksgiving and there is no better way than to
show our gratitude for our family and friends!

I used the Winter Meadow designer papers along with the
Layering Leaves stamp set for this card. A little unexpected color
combination for Fall, but with the addition of the leaves,
it was the perfect choice for me! The squares from the Stylish Shapes
dies made it easy to create a unique card opening, too!

Stamps:
Layering Leaves, Layers of Beauty

CCM saturday Blog Hop - Vintage Thanksgiving

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary team is geared up this
week to share some vintage Thanksgiving ideas with you!

I love using Very Vanilla and Soft Suede for vintage-style projects.
I created a layer of "designer paper" using the leaves and swirls
and Sahara Sand ink. Then, I used the Rustic Pumpkin dies to create
the pumpkin. I placed (2) of the large pumpkin pieces together
and added the center piece to create one larger pumpkin.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Hello Harvest
Ink: Soft Suede, Sahara Sand
Paper: Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: Quatrefoil embossing folder, Rustic Pumpkin dies, Sahara Sand/Old Olive ribbon pack, Rustic Metallic dots, Linen Thread, Forever Flourishing dies

Control Freaks October Blog Hop - Happy Holidays

 Hello, Stampers!

The FrEaKs are back this month with a festive holiday
theme! It's hard to believe it's already that time
of year. The next several weeks are going to go by so fast
and the team is here, ready to help you get a head start on
some project ideas for all the upcoming holidays. Whether you are
joining me from Debbie's blog or just starting out here, be sure
to check out all the festive project ideas to get you in the holiday spirit!

I couldn't decide which holiday to focus on, so I did all three!
This card features the Merriest Moments bundle.
I stamped the springs, berries and holly all before running
it thru Merry Melody embossing folder. Then, I topped it off
with a sentiment and a few poinsettia flowers.

I kept it really simple for this Thanksgiving card.
A little embossing with the Elegant Eucalyptus embossing
folder and some layered wreaths with the Country Wreaths
dies. A little gold trim and flower embellishments add
just the right amount of sparkle.

This is a fun one! I covered a pill box from the dollar store
using the Celebrate Everything designer papers and the Alphabest stamps.
I filled it with a bunch of fall-colored candies and topped it off with a
few die cut bats. You can easily personalize this idea
for a birthday, graduation, get well, etc.. or you could use this as a special
treat for a spouse/child/co-worker, etc. and fill it with their
favorites, too! A tasty little treat for every day of the week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Thanksgiving and Gratitude

Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary design team
is back this week with a Thanksgiving and Gratutude theme.
There is still time to get crafting and creating in time for the holiday!

For this card, I painted onto the Merriest Moments
embossed frame using different color inks and a water painter.
Then, I cut it in half and attached the two pieces together before adding
it to the Versamark stamped card base. I finished off the card with a
sentiment, Linen Thread and a few Champagne Rhinestones.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Heartfelt Wishes, Little Delights
Ink: Whisper White, Versamark, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Basic White

Control Freaks November Blog Hop - Thanks and Gratitude

 Hello, Stampers!

Welcome to the Control Freaks November Blog Hop!
Whether you are starting here or arriving from Melissa Stout's
blog, we have lots of great ideas for Thanks and Gratitude
to share with you today!

I've got my Thanksgiving cards in the mail, so I am focusing
on my Thanksgiving table settings......

I created a little turkey to sit at each place setting.
Isn't he adorable??!! I used three different widths for
the strips - 1 1/2", 2" and 2 1/2". The first layer is cut
from the Crushed Curry Pattern Party designer paper.
The second layer is the leaves design from the Pattern Party
designer paper. I colored the leaves using Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive,
Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler Stampin'
Blends. Finally, the third layer is Cajun Craze cardstock
stamped with Versamark using the leaves image from the Little
Delights stamp set. I embossed a 1 1/2" and 1 3/8" circle using
the Tasteful textile embossing folder. The eyes were punched from the
Turtle punch and the feet were punched from the Penguin Builder
punch. The nose and wattle were just free handed.
It's helpful to have an extra set of hands when assembing the
body. Fire up your glue gun - they go together fairly quickly!

The other project I created for my table are these napkin holders.
I started with a 1' x 4 3/4" Crumb Cake strip. I punched each end using
the Delightful Tag Topper punch. and embossed it using the Timeworn
Type embossing folder. Then, I cut the leaves from the Stitched
Leaves dies and glued them to the center. I cut another Crumb Cake
strip 7/8" x 3 1/2" and punched each end using the Lovely Labels
Pick a Punch and embossed using the Timeworn Type embossing folder
and adhered it on top of the leaves. I cut the words
Thanksgiving and Halloween from Early Epsresso cardstock. I cut the
words apart to create GIVE THANKS and glued it to the top.
Finally, I set the strip on top of the napkin and threaded the ribbons
thru one end - going behind the napkin - and out thru the oppoiste side
and securing with Very Vanilla Baker's Twine bows.

I hope these ideas give you a little inspiration to
create your own Thanksgiving table decorations!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #162

 Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge
is this fun sketch! I love how it looks like a frame and
also like a layer - offering lots of ways to create!

I cut the center frame using the Stitched Rectangles and the
Pattern Party designer paper. I colored the leaves on the paper using
the Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake
Stampin' Blends and tied the Linen Thread around (3x) in a bow before
adhering to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. A few Stitched Leaves,
stamped sentiment and Holiday Rhinestones finish off this harvest-time card.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Tuxedo Black
Paper: Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories: Stitched Leaves, Linen Thread, Holiday Rhinestones
Stampin' Blends: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie

I hope this week's challenge inspires you!
