CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Texture Time

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary team is closing out the
month of March with a little texture time!
We will show you some fun and different ways to
add texture to your projects. We hope you'll
find some ideas to incorporate these ideas into your own projects!

This card looks like it would be a lot of work, but really,
it came together pretty quickly! I started out with a
4" x 5 1/4" piece of watercolor cardstock. Then, I crumbled
up a piece of white tissue paper. I then added the crumbled tissue paper to
the watercolor paper using multi-purpose liquid glue and let it dry
completely. Once dried, I mixed reinkers with water and added the
color directly to the tissue paper and speckles using water painters
all over the panel and let that all dry completely. Finally, I added the gold
guilded leafing using a little multipurpose liquid glue.

The two pre-printed pieces are part of the NEW Fully
Flowering Ephemera pack coming in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.
I stamped the sentiment onto the label and then added the Guilded
Leafing on to those as well and finished it off with a little Linen Thread
and adhesive-backed gold sequins. I hope you give this tissure
technique a try - it;s so much fun!

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Z Fold Cards

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!
This week the team is creating using a fun "Z" fold design.
There are several different ways to change up this type
of fun fold, so I hope we can give you some ideas to incorporate
into your own z-fold card designs!

I went with a simple z-fold design for my card. I cut the card base to
4 1/4" x 11". I scored along the long edge and 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Then I folded the card in half and folded the top of the card backwards
along the remaining score line.

Then, I just added some of the Les Shoppes designer
paper and some sentiments to finish it off!

you are thinking of them!

The Heartfelt Hexagon bundle offers such a great variety of
all-occasion sentiments that it's a great go-to set for

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Flower Power

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop
team is back this week with a little Flower Power!
Who doesn't love flowers? We have created our cards featuring flowers
that can be used for any occasion or event throughout the year!

The Layered Florals embossing folder from the mini catalog
is just stunning! Look at that detail! It's great as a background
or as a focal point. Ink up the embossing folder with Craft
White ink on the raised side of the folder. Set your cardstock
on top and run it through the machine - that's it!  It looks like some
fancy technique - no one will believe how easy it is!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Heartfelt Hello
Ink: Craft White, Pretty Peacock
Paper: Basic White, Pretty Peacock
Accessories: Lost Lagoon ribbon, Nested Essential dies, Layered Florals embossing folder
