A Reason to Celebrate

Graduation season always feels like a fresh start — a moment filled with pride, excitement, and possibility. It’s the perfect time to celebrate the accomplishments of someone special, and what better way to do that than with a handmade card that’s as meaningful as the milestone itself?

Today I’m sharing a clean, cheerful graduation card created with the NEW Reason to Celebrate stamp set from the January - April Mini Catalog. This set is filled with sentiments to mix and match for so many occasions and general celebrations throughout the year - you'll want to add this one to your collection!

Fun tip: Arrange all the sentiments onto a clear block and stamp.

It's so much easier than stamping each one separately!

This design is gender-neutral and is easy to color coordinate to the school colors. Create an easy

graduation cap with a few snips of the scissors and choose a detailed embossing folder for the 

gold foil to create a more elegant touch.

Dollar Store Stampin' Up! Style - Graduation Album

I found these little metal tins in the

craft section of the store. I combined one of

these with the Covid-19 Giveback for a 

fun little graduation keepsake. 

2/$1 is a smokin' deal, too! 

Make one to keep and give one as a gift!

There is the top of the container and the inside of the

bottom of the container. I love those toilet paper rolls!!!

I added these circles using the Layering Circle

dies along a large piece of glitter ribbon.

You can make it as long as you want. I added the stitched

stars in between to fill the space.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #333

Good Morning, Stampers!

We are back today with anpther great

sketch challenge for you - I hope you will

play along with us!

This is a big year for graduations in our family.

My son is graduating High School along with several family

and friends, so I will be needing a lot of graduation cards in 

the coming weeks! This sketch made it so easy as each 

little element fell right into place. It's one of the things I love

about using a sketch - it takes all the guess-work out!

I kept the colors fairly neutral so that it can

be used for both male or female, Adding the sparkle of the

glimmer paper and the shimmer of the galvenized cardstock

make the graduate shine on their special day!

Pawsitively Graduation

Good Morning, Stampers!

Today's project has a little something old, something new, something borrowed but nothing blue! haha! We have had a very busy graduation season and needed several graduation cards over the last several weeks. I love making them personal with the school colors and their name - it's like a card and keepsake all in one! Here are a some from this past weekend:

For the the new: I embossed the background using the Oh My Stars embossing folder and then added the numbers (retired) in Smoky Slate. The sentiment was created from the Better Together stamp set and stamped in Basic Black ink. Finally, I was able to personalize the cards with the Make A Difference alphabet stamp set using the layering circle framelits.

For the old: That sweet little die cut paw is from the retired Build-A-Bear collection and cut from Basic Gray cardstock. It's gotten lots of use for our high school over the years! So glad I held onto the retired Large Number framelits, too!

For the borrowed: Of course the school logo works great - just print onto Whisper White cardstock directly from the website and die cut with circles.

It's graduation time! Here is a fun card I created for any young graduate to celebrate their achievement! It features the soon-to-be retired Be the Star stamp set. I cut the card base to 3 3/4" x 11" to allow the star to hang over just a bit. The colors can easily be changed to match the school colors. Hooray@

I got a bit carried away with this card, but it was fun! It was great that some were able to make it a birthday or Father's Day card. I love when a card is so versatile!

It's MY DAY!!!!

I'm SO EXCITED! Not only is it DAY 3 of the Create with Connie and Mary FREE PREVIEW WEEK, it is MY DAY for BLOG CANDY! WOO HOO! All you need to do is leave a comment below and I will choose a winner to be announced at the end of the week. Doesn't get any easier than that!

One of the sets I will be featuring in the Card "Create"tions Collection is Bravo. What better stamp set can offer so many positive sentiments? It's a must-have set for any stamp collection!

For this card, I combined the set with the Class of 2015 stamp - a perfect match! I kept the colors a simple black and gold - very versatile!

1. Mask and stamp the Class Of using Whisper White ink on the Basic Black card front.

2. Stamp the Congrats using Jet Black Stazon ink onto Vellum cardstock.

3. Adhere the vellum to the card front.

4. Add a Gold Shimmer frame embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder.

5. Emboss the 2015 using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder.

6. Stamp the cap using Jet Black Stazon

7. Add Gold Ribbon and Gold Sequin Trim
