CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Stencils

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary desgin team are having fun
with stencils this week! Grab your favorite stencils and get ready
to have some fun!

What a fun theme this week! I haven't used stencils in awhile so
this was a great opportuniuty to give them another try
as well as an opportunity to break in the Taco Fiesta stamp set.
Let's get this fiesta started!

To create this bright and bold background,
I started by making a stencil using the Split Cards dies
from Basic White cardtock:

I then set the stencil in the center and sponged
Pale Papaya ink using a blending brush.

Next, I shifted the stencil to flush with the left side and
added So Safron ink onto the stencil using the blending brush.
Finally, I shifted the stencil flush with the right side and
added Poppy Parade ink with the blending brush.
Moving the stencil around on your project opens
the door to more design possibilities! Mix and match
colors for fun and new backgrounds for all your projects!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Taco Fiesta
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Craft White, So Saffron, Pale Papaya, Poppy Parade
Paper: Basic White, Basic Black
Accessories: Split Textures dies, Blending Brushes
Stampin' Blends: Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, So Saffron

Happie Stampin!

This is so cute! I love how the stenciling turned out. It also works really well with the Taco Fiesta images.
