Control Freaks January Blog Hop - Favorite Stampin' Up! Color

I'm so glad you could join us for the Control Freaks

January Blog Hop! Whether you are arriving from LeeAnn's

blog or just starting out here, I'm sure you will find some fun,

creative inspiration to incorporate into your papercrafting projects!

I have always been partial to pinks. I 💗PINK!

I was so happy when Polished Pink joined our list of colors!

The backgrounds on both cards are embossed and swiped with 

Whisper White ink to highlight the depth of the embossing.

It's a simple and fun technique that canbe used on any color card base.

This card features the Blessings of Home stamp

set with the Thanks and Hello embossing

folders. The floral image is stamped using Jet Black stazon ink

and colored using a water painter and Polished Pink ink.

This card features the Create with Friends and Magnolia embossing

embossing folder. To get the speckles, I watered down 

Whisper White ink and used my water painter to tap the ink onto the card.
