Let the Adventure Begin

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Designer Series Paper (DSP) is beautiful; in fact, some of us love it so much that we simply frame it. True story! Besides using it as a background layer for your projects, you can stamp, tear, paint, draw on, and emboss it. After embellishing it, you might even turn it into gorgeous envelopes, banners, or use it as the background for a scrapbook page. Think of it as a canvas— you’ll be amazed by the number of creative possibilities that suddenly open up.

To create today’s beautiful card, the Stampin' Up! Concept Artist made a card base from Mossy Meadow Cardstock and added a layer of torn paper. She then selected a sheet of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper and gave it her own touch by stamping the watercolor scene with trees, moon, and stars. This addition shifted the mid-day forest landscape to twilight, creating an entirely new mood!

To make her hand-stamped section the focal point of her project, she cut it out using an Everyday Arches die, then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. She then stamped and die cut more trees and used them to extend the scene around the arch die cut and across the card. So beautiful!
