Good Morning, Stampers!
Welcome back to the Create with Connie and Mary
Saturday Blog Hop! You are in for a treat today as the team
is sharing some seaside projects with you! We'll have you
dreaming of water, sand and sunsets in no time!
I'm a little embarassed to say but I don't own a single water-themed
stamp set! AHH! I know! So for this card, I had to work with what I
had on hand. Thank goodness for blending brushes and cardstock!
To create this card:
1.Tear some Crumb Cake cardstock across the top
2. Stamp the speckles over the entire piece using Crumb Cake ink.
3. Added some pool party cardstock to the backside for the water.
4. Die cut a circle onto a piece of Basic White cardstock to use as a mask for the sun.
5. Place the mask onto the card and lightly sponged the Calypso Coral ink to create the sun.
6. Add a light layer of So Saffron and Calypso Coral inks to give the entire background a soft pale glow.
7. Adhere the sand/water to the card front.
8. Adhere the letters to the bottom right corner.
9. Stamp the JUST onto Calypso Coral cardstock using Craft White ink. Let dry, trim to size.
10. Add embossing paste across the top of the water to create whitecaps. Let dry completely.
