Dragonfly Thank You

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Today's project shows a beginners watercolor card that look hard, but really is easy to do!! Grab some watercolor paper, ink and your water painter and lets get creating!

To achieve this background, start with a piece
of fluid 100 watercolor paper and Just Jade ink.
Squeeze the water to fully saturate your water painter brush.
Pick up the ink from the lid of the ink pad and begin painting
the ink onto the paper. The key is to use enough water
to make the ink bleed over the paper. Once you are satisfied
with your panel, let it dry completely. Once dried, add more ink to your water
painter and lightly tap the ink over the panel to add ink
speckles. It's really that easy! Keep in mind when doing this, no two
will ever be exactly the same - that's the beauty of watercolor!
I used the same technique for the dragonfly. I used Misty Moonlight,
Magenta Madness and Smoky Slate inks. Once the paper was dry,
I stamped the dragonfly on top using Evening Evergreen ink
and punched using the dragonfly punch.
