With all the warm, summer weather across the United States, it's
no wonder the Create with Connie and Mary design team
has that Tropical Feeling!
What better way to enjoy the sunshine than with a sweet,
tasty drink! I combined the Timeless Tropical and Under My Umbrella
stamp sets along with the In the Tropics dies for this card. Yum!!!
To recreate this card:
1/ Cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Whisper White card base.
2/ Emboss using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder
3/ Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock panel.
4/ Wash a little Pool Party ink and water onto the panel using Water Painters. Let dry.
5/ Adhere the panel to the card front.
6/ Die cut a pineapple base using BumbleBee cardstock.
7/ Adhere the pineapple base to Garden Green cardstock. Trim.
8/ Cut a pineapple top using Garden Green cardsotck.
9/ Adhere the two pineapple pieces together.
10/ Cut the pineapple in half.
11/ Cut a stitched circle from Rainbow Glimmer paper.
12/ Adhere the circle to the card front.
13/ Adhere the pineapple top to the card front.
14/ Adhere the pineapple bottom using Stampin' Dimensionals.
15/ Stamp the palm tree image onto Coastal Cabana cardstock using Coastal Cabana ink.
16/ Cut one tree trunk to use as the straw and tuck inside the pineapple base using a drop of glue.
17/ Stamp the umbrella top and handle onto Magenta Madness designer paper using
Tuxedo Black ink. Punch/cut.
18. Adhere the umbrella pieces together and tuck inside the pineapple using Stampin' Dimensionals.
19/ Stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo Black ink.
20/ Stamp the flower onto Whisper White cardstock using Magenta Madness ink. Cut.
21/ Adhere the flower to the pineapple using Stampin' Dimensionals.
22. Adhere a Magenta Madness enamel dot to the center of the flower.

This card is adorable! Love the way you used the rainbow Glimmer paper, cut the pineapple in half, added the umbrella, used the tree trunk for the straw and the colors you used. This is a great card to add to the Paper Pumpkin box of sunshine!
