CCMC Saturday Blog Hop - Special Folds

Good Morning, Stampers!

Are you ready for some projects featuring
some special folds? The Create with Connie
and Mary Design Team excited to share some fun ideas
with you this week - take a look:



Not one stamp was used on this card! I know!!
The Memories and More card packs are not just for 
scrapbooking. In fact, it is encouraged to use these
preprinted cards and elements for all your paper crafting
projects. The cards are all 2-sided with gives you double
the possibilities for creating one-of-a-kind creations!


Here is a close-up of the fold itself. You can see 
 the vibrant designs from both sides of the pattern
paper show - so pretty!

To create this card:

1. Cut the Old Olive card base to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score in half.
2. Cut a 2 3/4" square on the card front.
3. Emboss the card front using the Coastal Weave embossing folder.
4. Cut a 3 1/4" square from Early Espresso cardstock.
5. Place the 2 3/4" square die in the center and cut to create the frame.
6. Adhere the Early Espresso frame to the center of the opening on the card front.
7. Cut the designer paper to 5 1/4" x 5 3/4".
8. Score at 1 1/2" and 3 5/8" along the long edge.

4. Adhere the right panel to the inside flap leaving a 1/8" border around the three sides.
5. Cut a 4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.
6. Score along the short edge at 2".
7. Stamp a sentiment onto the panel if desired.
8. Adhere the piece to designer paper by matching up the scrore lines.
9. Cut a 2 3/4" x 3 5/8" piece of Early Espresso cardstock.
10. Trim and adhere the Memories and More card to center on the Early Espresso cardstock.
11. Accordian fold the designer paper.
12. Close the card front.
13. Slide the Memories and More card thru the opening and adhere to the designer paper.
14.Adhere the floral edge banner to a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock. 
15. Trim leaving a 1/8" edge.
16. Adhere the banner to the Memories and More card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
17.Adhere the sentiment and the flower stickers to the banner using Stampin' Dimensionals.
18. Cut (2) 1" pieces of Braided Burlap trim.
19. Using glue dots, attach the trim pieces between the banner and the card.
