The Create with Connie and Mary Team is celebrating
National Coloring Day today!
I thought I would share a couple ways I like to color.
First, grab your designer papers. Especially those pretty
flower ones. These can be used for any occasion - like Christmas!
I just colored the flowers using Real Red
Stampin' Blends. Since the leaves
and background were already colored, I
left them as is.
See the difference? The before is really soft
and pretty. The after shows Real Red flowers that are just
so vibrant - especially with the gold accents!
Here is another coloring tip.
Color your ribbons! I colored the Vanilla/Gold edge
ribbon with the same Real Red Stampin' Blends marker.
The result is perfect color coordination!
The color possibilities are infinite!
To recreate the card:
1. Color the designer paper using Real Red Stampin' Blends
2. Stamp the magnolia using Gold Metallic ink onto the left side of the card front.
3. Adhere the designer paper to the card front.
4. Add the small strip of gold glimmer to the right of the designer paper.
5. Stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock.
6. Stamp the frame around the sentiment using Gold Metallic ink.
7. Cut and adhere the Basic Black detailed band to the backside of the sentiment.
8. Adhere the band to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
9. Cut the Merry from gold glimmer and adhere above the sentiment.
10. Color the ribbon using Real Red Stampin' Blends.
11. Wrap and tie the ribbon in a bow at the top of the card.
