Welcome to another fun and exciting Saturday Blog Hop!
This week, we are creating Christmas favors
and the designers have some great ideas to share with you!
This paper gift bag is an "oldie but a goodie"!
It was one of the first projects I demonstrated
when I first started back in 1998!
It's made with a regular brown paper
lunch bag - something we all have in our
kitchen. So grab a bag and I'll show you how it's done!
For my bag, I decided to heat emboss my images.
If you chose to do so, be sure to use your embossing buddy
all over the area you plan to stamp. Otherwise, you will have
powder stuck everywhere!
Stamp your images using Versamark ink. Sprinkle the
powder and heat set. Insert your gift into the bag.
Accordian fold the top of the bag 1/2 way down.
(or enough to fit your gift) and use a staple to secure in place.
Then, bring up each end and staple the top two
folds together.
HOW FUN!
Finish off your bag by adding a bow to the center
of the bag to hide the staple and a coordinating gift tag.
A pretty presentation for your baked goods or small gift!
