Create with Connie and Mary are changing things
up for the month of July for their Saturday Blog Hops!
It's all about "Back to the 80's Music"
and this week we are "Going Around in Circles"!
I really had no idea what I was doing when I first
started out on this card, but I think it came out pretty
cool when it was finished!
1) I started out by cutting a piece of watercolor paper
to 3 3/4" x 5". Then I punched out different size circles
from some scratch cardstock and placed it on top
of the watercolor paper.
2) Then, I added different colors of Brusho and
spritzed lightly with water. I allowed it to dry for a few
minutes and then removed the circles.
3) Next, I added the Sheet Music background on top
using Gray Granite ink and added it to the Sahara
Sand card front embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.
4) Finally, I added the bird, flowers and branch images
and finished it off with the birthday sentiment and
a little Linen Thread bow.
