CCMC Saturday Blog Hop - Featuring Flowers

Good Morning, Stampers!

We are featuring FLOWERS this week at the
Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!

It has been YEARS since I have created a card featuring
the Faux Postage technique! So long so, that the template I had on file had the
postage at 37 cents - lol! If you would like to try this out, I
have included an updated version with a FOREVER stamp.
Just print onto cardstock and stamp!

To create the Faux Postage Card:

1. Print the template onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
2. Make a mask using a clear/transparent sheet. Place the clear sheet on top of the template.
Use a ruler to mark and an exacto knife to cut the inside of the squares on the transparancy.
3. Place the template over your cardstock and sponge Sahara Sand using a sponge dauber.
4. Stamp  the leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink.
5. Stamp the speckles using Soft Suede ink. Remove the transparancy.
6. Stamp the flowers onto the card front using Peek-A-Boo Peach ink in the top right and lower
    left corners.
7. Adhere the Faux Postage panel to the card front.
8. Stamp the flowers ontoVery Vanilla cardstock using Peek-A-Boo Peach ink. Cut.
9. Cut (3) leaves from Pear Pizzazz cardtock.
10. Stamp the label onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Soft Suede ink. Cut.
11. Stamp the sentiment in the label using Archival Basic Black ink.
12. Adhere the label using Stampin' Dimensionals.
13. Adhere the flowers using Stampin' Dimensionals.
14. Add a Basic Pearl to the center of each flower.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Awesomely Artistic, Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Peek-A-Boo Peach, Archival Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand
Paper: Very Vanilla, Peek-a-Boo Peach
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Pretty Pines thinlits, Bouquet Bunch framelits

Happie Stampin'!

I come to this place every now and then. The event venue is really nice, the crowd is full of regulars, and the food and drink specials are pretty good! The staff is great and really gets to know your name. Totally worth your time on any night for good food and drink.
