Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge #279

Good Morning, Stampers!

We are changing things up for this week's Paper

Craft Crew Challenge. This time, we are

taking inspiration from this Mardi Gras design!

I must admit, I have never created a Mardi Gras card

or anything Mardi Gras-related ever! haha! This was

a first for me and not an easy one at that!

I decided to go with the colors instead of the theme. 

Colors I have! I also have the BRAND-NEW,

SOON-TO-BE-RELEASED Springtime Foils

designer papers from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration

February 16th release. These papers are A-MAZING

in the rich metallic colors and patterns. You must

add this to your wishlist - I know it will sell out fast!

To color the paper, I used Emerald Envy and Fresh Fig

inks and a blender pen. Because the paper is glossy,

I quickly heat set the ink to prevent it from smearing.

Once colored, I fussy-cut the image and added it to the

card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
