Yesterday was my FREE STAMP DAY! When I first saw this idea from Lisa Curcio, I just knew it would be perfect for this month's project!
How many times have you seen or made a card FULL of beautiful embellishments and layers?
The first thing I always think of is "What's it going to cost to mail"? Well, this project solves that!
The gift bag has a card hanger that serves double-duty! Not only is it a decoration for the bag, but it also holds the removable card, too! What a great idea, huh?! Thanks for sharing, Lisa!
Here are the hanger basics:
1. Cut a piece of card stock to 2" x 7".
2. Round all corners with a corner rounder.
3. Using the Word Window punch, start about 1/2" from the left edge and continue punching all the way down the strip to 1/2" from the right edge.
4. Emboss/stamp/punch the piece as desired.
5. Adhere the piece to the stamped bag - DO NOT add adhesive below the opening or your card will not fit.
Card Tips:
1. Stamp the images using Versamark ink and emboss using Whisper White embossing powder.
2. Color the areas using Stampin' Blendabilities as desired.
