Control Freaks August Blog Tour - Simple and Elegant

Hello, Stampers!

WELCOME to the August Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! I hope you are enjoying the simple and elegant projects you have seen so far! If you are arriving from Deb Currier's blog, you are in the right place!

I created a golden Holiday invitation and party favor/place setting ensemble that will
"WOW" your guests - no need to tell them just how easy this is!

I cut the Crumb Cake card to 3 3/4" x 11".
I stamped the Daydream Medallion using Whisper White ink.
On a 3 1/2" x 5" piece of Vellum Cardstock, I embossed the Christmas
Bauble in gold. I finished it off with a basic pearl, Gold Satin Ribbon and Baker's Twine.

This treat/party favor/place setting was made using a recycled toilet paper roll!
I simply covered it with a piece of Gold Soiree Designer Paper.
The tissue was stamped using the Nutcracker from the Santa Stache stamp set and Encore Gold Metallic ink. It is filled with treats and tied up with Gold Baker's Twine.
For the topper, I cut a 2" x 8 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I punched each end using the Scallop Tag Topper punch. I stamped and embossed the nutcracker up at the top using gold embossing powder. I stamped a secont moustache onto Very Vanilla and repeated the embossing.
I cut it with the Mustache framelit and adhered it to the tag.
Wrap the tag around the tube and secure with Gold Satin Ribbon and Gold Baker's Twine.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Santa Stache, Christmas Bauble, Daydream Medallion
Ink: Versamark, Encore Metallic Gold, Whisper White
Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Vellum Cardstock, Gold Soiree DSP
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Gold Baker's Twine, Gold Satin Ribbon, Gold embossing powder, heat tool, Moustache framelit, toilet paper roll, Scallop tag Topper Punch

Happie Stampin'!
~Melissa
