CCMC Color Challenge 292

Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to this week's Color Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! I have to be honest, when I first looked at this color combination, I said to myself "What can I do with this??" These are not colors I would typically put together and I was worried about what I would come up with.

But, leave it to Connie and Mary to challenge us and that they did! Afterall, that is what a challenge is all about, right?!

My card features the Exclusive Hostess-Only stamp set Happy Flowers. It's not one I use often so paired with the colors, it was a good challenge for me! Once I got going tho, it all came together. I really like how the colors just "pop" from the Whisper White card base.

Check out Create with Connie and Mary to see all of the designer creations and play along in the challenge!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Happy Flowers, A Dozen Thoughts
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, Pistachio Pudding
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Decorative Dots embossing folder, Floral Frames Framelits, Pistachio Pudding Ruffled Ribbon

I think we pretty much were all "stumped" this week but we all came through. Perfect how you used the stem with the die-cut flower!

Very fun way to use the die cut and stem from that set! Love the clean look to your card! Great job with the color challenge this week!

Beautiful CAS card! Love the ribbon along the bottom! And how creative to clip the corner of your card! So often I round it but clipping it is a new idea!!

I think your card turned out great! The flower really pops against all the white space.

What a clever card! Love how you incorporated the colors. Love the ribbon "grass" and the clipped corner.

I agree that this color scheme was quite a challenge!! But I love all the cards! Your sweet flower looks so perky and happy against all the white, and the black just makes it pop! Great card!
