Create with Connie and Mary have a very festive (and non-traditional) color combination for their challenge this week!
I never realized how well the Coastal Cabana and Real Red work together! I like it!
I chose to use the carry-over stamp sets this week. (oldies but goodies!) They have been very neglected since the Holiday Catalog release! The red rhinestones were colored with a red permanent maker to coordinate with the Real Red ornament. Both ornaments are topped with a little Baker's twine bow.
I created the pop-up banner by adding (2) little score lines - 1/8" apart - on each end of the strip of cardstock. This allows for the mountain/valley fold...

Melissa, I love your elegant Christmas ornaments! You card really showcases these colors in a beautiful way!
Love the way you used the Beautifully Baroque stamp under the ornaments! Really adds a perfect background. Very pretty card!
I agree with Lisa, love how you layered the ornament on that Beautifully Baroque background stamp image! Didn't think I needed that one, but changing my mind! Great job with the color challenge this week!
Gorgeous card, Melissa. Love the Beautiful Baroque stamp in the background and the tip on creating the banner. That makes more sense than trying to fold it on your own like I do - your way is way neater!
Wow!! This is so elegant and beautiful! Love how you layered the ornaments over the stamped background! Beautiful details, too!!
Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous! You have done it again! Another amazingly beautiful card! Now I need to buy everything you used to make it! You and Connie are killing me...my wish list is out of control!
Such a lovely card, Melissa! I'm always pulling out that giant Beautifully Baroque stamp, just to be intimidated and put it back. It looks great as a backdrop to those ornaments!
