CCMC Sketch/Color Challenge 260 A/B

Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's Summer Edition featured projects in two's (are you a subscriber to see the exclusive projects? You will want to be if you aren't already!) so, it is only fitting that Connie and Mary Challenge us in two's, too!

You can choose the delicious color challenge or the fun shaped-card in the sketch challenge - your choice!

I chose to combine both challenges for my card today. Believe it or not, it makes creating a card so much easier! The colors and layout are already done - all I needed to do was choose a stamp set! It doesn't get any easier than this!

1. Fold the Crisp Cantaloupe card base in half.
2. Place the Deco Label just below the flod in the card and run thru the Bigshot.
3. Emboss with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder.
4. cut a small Deco Label from Whisper White cardstock.
5. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. Adhere to the card front.
6. On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp (2) flowers using Early Espresso ink.
7. Color one flower with Crisp Cantaloupe and a blender pen. Cut.
8. Color the second flower using Pistachio Pudding ink. Cut (2) petals off.
9. Adhere the Pisachio Pudding petals to the large flower.
10. Adhere the flower to the card front using a Stampin' Dimensional.
11. Cut a small strip of DSP from the InColor Pattern Paper pack. Snip the ends and adhere to the card by tucking under the flower.
12. Wrap the Whisper White Baker's Twine twice around the top of the card and tie in a bow.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: FLower Shop, Express Yourself
Ink: Early Espresso, Pistachio Pudding, crisp Cantaloupe
Paper: Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe
Accessories: InColor DSP, Modern Mosaic embossing folder, Deco Label framelits, Whisper White Baker's Twine

Beautiful card! I want to know how you did the center of the flower...it looks REAL! Love that you did a shaped card and combined the two challenges!
