Spring Occasions Saturday Challenge OCC2

Good Morning, Stampers!

What a fun week it has been celebrating the Sale-A Bration products the week at the Create with Connie and Mary Spring Catalog Edition! We have seen some really creative projects, don't you agree??

To finish off the week, we are playing along with the Saturday Sketch Challenge! I love the layering of this sketch:

I think my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set has got to be the Vintage Verses. I love that each image has a style of its own!

For my card, I combined the Vintage Verses along with the Vine Street embossing folder and the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper.

Do you recognize the other elements on the card? They are from the Pop Up Posies Designer Kit. If you haven't seen this kit, no worries! Next week's Create with Connie and Mary Spring Occasion's theme is all about the kits and I'm sure you wil be seeing this kit again! (wink, wink!)

To recreate my card, begin by embossing the Always Artichoke card with the Vine Street embossing folder. Add a piece of the Summer Starfruit Sycamore Street DSP. Using a Crumb Cake marker, ink the design from the Wishing You image and stamp onto a tag from the kit. Adhere to the card front. Next, insert a Summer Starfruit brad into the natural flower and adhere to the card front. On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the sentiment in Summer Starfruit. Repeat using Chocolate Chip ink. Cut the sentiment and adhere on top of eachother using Stampin' Dimensionals. Finish the card off with a strip of flower trim and a little bow using the Vanilla Baker's Twine.

SUpplies:
Stamps: Vintage Verses
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Summer Starfruit
Paper: Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Sycamore Street DSP
Accessories: Pop Up Posies Designer Kit, flower trim, Crumb Cake marker, Vine Street embossing folder

Be sure to check out all of the designer projects today on Create with Connie and Mary. Everyone can play along in the challenge, but only subscribers can win prizes!

Happy Stampin'!

Love your blog banner! I guess it's been awhile since I visited. Sorry! I love your card and how you used the flower trim. It's striking!

Hugs,
