CCMC Thursday Challenge #231

Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's Thursday Challenge is a sketch. It's a fun and simple layout that can easily be incorporated into any occasion!

I chose to use the New Year's single stamp for my card. It fit the shape on the sketch perfectly - a great inspiration point!

To recreate this card:
1. Begin with a Basic Gray card base.
2. Cut using the Sizzix Scallop Square.
3. Emboss using the stripes embossing folder.
4. Stamp the top portion of the image using a Basic Black marker onto Whisper White cardstock.
5. Layer onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.
6. Cut a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper 7 scallops long from the Sizzix Scallop Square die.
7. Adhere to the back side of the image.
8. Stamp the sentiment using a Basic Gray marker onto Whisper White cardstock.
9. Cut a "v" in the sentiment and adhere all of the pieces to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.
10. Tie a piece of 1 1/4" two-tones ribbon in a knot.
11. Add Silver Dazzling details if desired.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: New Years
Ink: Basic Gray and Basic Black.
Paper: Basic Black, basic Gray, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Accessories: Stripes embossing folder, Scallop Square die, 1 1/4" two-toned ribbon, Silver Shimmer Glue.
