I couldn't wait to get started on this week's Create with Connie and Mary Challenge because I wanted to to a Thanksgiving card and had this idea in my head the first time I saw the sketch. It came out exactly how I had pictured it!
This stamp set is perfect for watercoloring! I stamped the image onto watercolor paper using Jet Black Stazon ink and colored with blender pens. I stamped the border image in Jet Black Stazon onto the More Mustard card front. I adhered the watercolored image onto Early Espresso cardstock. I added strips of the Orchard Harvest DSP as well as a stamped piece of watercolor paper for the little flags to the back of the main image and adhered the entire piece to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
SU!pplies:
Stamps: Full of Blessings
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Ridinghood Red, Lucky Limeade, Old Olive, Early Espresso
Paper: Watercolor, More Mustard, Orchard Harvest DSP
Accessories: Blender Pens
Don't forget! Even though we are coming to the end of the 2012 Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition, you can still get all of the great projects! Simply head on over to Create with Connie and Mary and subscribe. You will have access to all of the projects for a full year for only $29.95 - less than $1 a project - A GREAT DEAL!
Happy Stampin'!

Such a pretty card! I love the greeting stamped on the flag! Such a creative idea! Great job coloring, too!,
Very pretty!
I managed to totally miss you at Hilton Head. I wish we there had been one gathering where everyone was at so we could see and meet each other. I just wasn't sure who was part of SU (unless there was a clue - like a tshirt, tag or bag). And I'm not good at approaching people out of the blue.
I hope you had a good time!

Wonderful watercoloring! Love your paper choices for the little flags. So cute the way the greeting is on one of those little flags! Great working with you on Create!
Terrific watercoloring. Love this sketch and what you did with it.
So pretty! The image is colored beautifully and I love that you added the sentiment on one of the banners!
Gorgeous watercoloring. Love how you used the greeting for one of the tags! Thanks so much, Melissa!
Super way to use this stamp set. Love the little inked up banner at the bottom of the card snuck under the other banners!
