CCMC 219

Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday's Challenge is a sketch challenge. Normally, I really like to do my own thing when it comes to sketch challenges, however, I really like the clean and simple look of this layout, so I stuck with it!

Whatcha think? I began by cutting a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Labels Collection framelit. I stamped the large medallion from the Day of Gratitude stamp set in Whisper White ink and clear embossing powder. Using sponge daubers, I lightly rubbed Always Artichoke, More Mustard and Cajun Craze ink onto the image and lightly rubbed off the excess ink with a tissue.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the leaves - one in Cajun Craze and one in More Mustard and cut them out. I stamped the sentiment with Cajun Craze and punched with the word window punch.

The Distressed Dots background stamp was stamped with Always Artichoke ink onto a 1" x 5 1/2" piece of Always Artichoke cardstock.

I finished the card with a small piece of Polka Dot Scallop Ribbon and a Antique Brad.

SU!pplies:

Stamps: Day of Gratutude, Distressed Dots
Ink: More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and Whisper White
Paper: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, More Mustard
Accessories: More Mustard Scallop Polka Dot Ribbon, Antique Brads, Label Framelits, Clear Embossing Powder, Word Window Punch.

Beautiful! Love the fall colors you used for this! And the sponging on the medallion really gives it a lot of dimension!
