13 Weeks of Halloween

Good Morning, Stampers!

We are into Week 6 of the 13 Weeks of Halloween Blog Hop! I have a simple project to share with you that only requires a few supplies. I found this pumpkin candy dish idea while scoping Pinterest not too long ago. I thought it would be a great project to do with kids or even as a party favor for a Fall celebration! The base is a small terra cotta flower pot and it is simply covered with strips of Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Paper. It is a great way to use up scraps!

Here is a step-by-step tutorial for you:

Begin by cutting paper strips. The length will depend upon what size pot you have. I am using a small pot, so my strips are 3 1/2" long by 1/2" wide. Once you get the idea, you can play around with different widths and even combine them for a fun look!

Adhere a glue dot to each end of the paper strip.

Adhere one end about 1/4" way into the pot and secure.

Wrap the piece around and secure the end on the bottom of the pot.

Continue all the way around the pot.

Fill with yummy candy treats!
