CCMC 214

Good Morning, Stampers!

It's time for another Thursday Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!  Such a fun & happy color combination for today's challenge!

I was so excited to see the mason jar stamp set - Perfectly Preserved in the 2012 Holiday Mini Catalog! We were long-over due for a jar stamp and it has coordinating framelits, too!

I began with the Polka Dot DSP in the Daffodil Delight and adhered it to the top portion of the card. Then I added the Gumball Green Striped DSP from the In Color Collection to the bottom of the card. Across the center, I added a 5 1/4" piece of Midnight Muse ribbon. Punch a doily from Whisper White cardstock, cut it and adhered it to the card using dimensionals. Stamp the jar on a piece of Whisper white cardstock in Midnight Muse ink. Inside the jar, add the apples in Daffodil Delight & Gumball Green inks. Cut and adhere with dimensionals. The lid was stamped in Midnight Muse tied with a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine in a bow. I finished up by cutting a 2" x 1" flag using the Daffodil Delight DSP. Cut a small "v" in the bottom & adhere to the card with dimensionals. Wrap the top of the flag with Baker's Twine in a knot. Stamp the sentiment in Gumball Green and punch with the small oval punch. Adhere to the flag. add (2) small flowers to the lower left in Midnight Muse. Attach with dimensionals and add rhinestones to the center.

SU!pplies:

Stamps: Perfectly Preserved
Ink: Basic Gray, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Midnight Muse
Paper: Whisper White Cardstock, Polka Dot DSP, In Color Collection DSP,
Accessories: Sizzix Doily. small oval punch, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Cannery Framelits, Rhinestones, Midnight Muse ribbon

Happy Stampin'!

Melissa this is so adorable. I love the fruit in the jar and the way you've placed the lacy doily looks like the jar is sitting on a table! So clever!

Oh how cute this is! I like how you created a little table setting type of display. The doily sits perfectly under the jar!

Another cute creation with the jar. I'm trying so hard not to buy everything in the Holiday catalog but all these cute cards with this jar is making it really hard to stay away from the set.

Oh my goodness...so CUTE! Love how you used the die cut as a doily under the jar. These colors remind me of my grandmother's kitchen.
