It is FRIDAY!! I have a Fast & Fabulous embellishment to share with you today!
One of my newest, most favoritest (is that a word??) Sizzix dies is the Perfect Pennants (123126 $32.95) from the upcoming 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. If you placed an order with me during June, you will receive a free sample in your bag! Here is an easy embellisment to really "WOW" your projects:
Begin with the larger of the two scallop circles on Whisper White cardstock.
(Either size will work for this idea)
After die cutting, run the scallop circle thru the Sizzix again using the Northern Flurry embossing folder (120902 $7.95)
Next, weave 1/8" Taffeta ribbon (or any ribbon of your choice) all the way around the circle. Tie in a bow. That's it!! Here, I took it a step further and added a snowflake from the Northern Frost decorative strip die (120901 $21.95) and covered it in Dazzling Diamonds glitter (102023 $4.50)
Here is the finished embellishment on a card.

Fabulous idea Melissa! The base piece with snowflake, etc with the ribbon around it would make a fabulous ornament or a center medallion piece for a wreath too!
