A Paper Pumpkin Thing - June 2017

Good Morning, Stampers!

What a delicious hop we have for you today!

It is definitely One in a Melon!

The kit is perfect timing for the sumertime!

I'm so glad you are joining us for a blog hop featuring 

alternative ideas using the June My Paper Pumpkin Kit!

If you are following along on the hop, you are arriving from Maria's blog.

I love what she did with the kit supplies!

If you are just starting here, follow along at the 

bottom and you will be directed around the hop!

I kept with the watermelon theme and recreated a card.

I crumbled the tissue included in the kit and adhered it to

a piece of white cardstock, Then, I was able to add that

as a layer to the card front. Notice the rind? I added

a layer of Lemon Lime Twist to look just like the bags. 

Of course, scraps can go a long way when you use 

them in your projects!

For the treat, I found a package of watermelon licorice 

decided it would make a great summertime hostess gift!

Who doesn't love a sweet treat??!!

I fringed the tissue and embossed the a little something with Versamark 

and clear embossing powder and added the sweet die cut 

from the Cupcake Cut Outs framelits to finish off the tag.
