rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #415

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

It's time for another rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge, and this week we're playing with color! Color challenges are always a fun opportunity to step outside our comfort zone and try something a little different.

For this week's challenge, I chose Bubble Bath, Soft Seafoam, Granny Apple Green, and Crumb Cake. While these might not be the first colors that come to mind when you think of Christmas, I thought they would make a fun and unexpected holiday combination!

I paired these colors with some sweet Christmas images, including gingerbread friends, Christmas trees, and a peppermint candy. The Soft Seafoam embossed background adds wonderful texture, while the Granny Apple Green trees bring in that traditional Christmas feel. The Bubble Bath peppermint adds just the right amount of sweetness, and the Crumb Cake gingerbread cookies pull everything together.

A little white ribbon and a few embellishments finish off the design for a festive card with a soft, playful look.

I love how a simple change in color palette can give a familiar holiday design an entirely different feel!

Now it's your turn! How would you use these four colors?

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Home for Christmas
Ink: Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Paper: Thick Basic White, Soft Seafoam, Granny Apple Green, Bubble Bath
Accessories: Home for the Holidays dies, White Textured Ribbon, White Baker's Twine, Iridescent Pearls

Have fun with this week's color challenge!

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Spooky Things

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to this week’s Create with Stampin’ Friends Saturday Blog Hop!

This week, we’re getting into the Halloween spirit with our theme, Spooky Things! I couldn’t resist creating a fun little candy treat that’s perfect for sharing a little Halloween happiness with family, friends, neighbors, or your favorite crafty friends.

Who says Halloween treats have to be complicated? Sometimes, all it takes is a little candy, some fabulous designer paper, and a touch of creativity to turn an ordinary sweet into something extra special!

This is just a simple 1 1/2" strip of designer paper wrapped around twi candy bars and topped with a few cut outs from the designer papers and stamped pumpkins from the Thanks and Giving stamp set.

Small treat holders are a wonderful way to use those favorite patterns while creating something thoughtful and fun to give away. They’re also perfect for Halloween parties, classroom treats, craft gatherings, or a little spooky surprise for someone special!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #413

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to RubberFunatics Weekly Challenge #413!  This week we have a fun sketch challenge, and I’m excited to share my take on the layout!

I love how this sketch lets you layer different shapes, patterns, and colors to create a card with lots of visual interest. I used a rich fall color palette, mixing patterned paper with embossed cardstock for added texture. The focal point features a stamped and colored fall arrangement filled with pumpkins and seasonal foliage, finished with a banner sentiment that says Happy Thanksgiving.

The combination of layers, textures, and fall patterns gives this card a cozy autumn feel. I especially love how the embossed background adds dimension while the decorative ribbon ties everything together!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #694

 Good Morning, Stampers!

It’s time for another Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge, and this week we’re getting creative with a sketch challenge! Sketches are such a wonderful way to spark inspiration and get those creative juices flowing. They give you a starting point while still leaving plenty of room to make the design your own.

For my card, I reached for the beautiful Sunflower Fields designer paper. The gorgeous autumn florals, warm seasonal patterns, and earthy colors were perfect for creating a festive Thanksgiving card.

I had fun combining the different patterned papers to bring the sketch to life, mixing bold sunflowers with coordinating plaid, stripes, and polka dots. I added a few layered decorative elements, including a sunflower, a little pumpkin from the Thanks and Giving stamp set, and a cheerful flower, to give the card extra dimension and a touch of fall charm. The Happy Thanksgiving banner brings everything together for a card that’s ready to share with someone special around the holiday table.

One of my favorite things about sketch challenges is seeing how differently everyone interprets the same layout. You can follow the sketch closely, switch up the colors and patterns, or add your own special touches to make it uniquely yours!
