Vanilla Shimmer Easter Blooms

Good Morning, Stampers!

Easter is coming early this year! I got a head start on my Easter cards using the Indescribable Gift stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The floral branch is just gorgeous!

I combined the stamp set with the dictionary background - they compliment each other so nicely!
I finished off the card by spritzing the entire card front with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
Oh, my goodness, it is SO SHIMMERY!!!

Watercolor Birthday

Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to another fabulous Color Challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!
I love this color combo! So vibrant with a touch of softness - great mix of color!

This card came together quickly.A little Blackberry Bliss and spritz of water on watercolor paper is all that was needed for the background and I look like a professional artist - lol!
A few added stamped images and embellishments and voila!
I really like making my cards a touch smaller to allow for things to
hangoff the edge a bit. A little unexpected and fun!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Butterfly Basics
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Rose Red, Blushing Bride
Paper: Watercolor, Blushing Bride, Rose Red
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Butterfly Framelits, Artisan Embellishment Kit, Sweatheart punch, Beautifully Baroque embossing folder

You Warm My Heart

Good Morning, Stampers!

I've definitely been on a bit of a Sheltering Tree kick these last few days. I have another one to share with you today!

I created the tree using a mask and medium heart framelit. One of the things I really love about Photopolymer stamps is the flexibility it offers. I was able to curve the sentiment to follow the curve of the heart - more possibilities - I LOVE that!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Sheltering Tree
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride
Paper: Something Borrowed DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Blushing Bride, Gold Shimer
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat tool, Itty Bitty flowers punch, Basic Rhinestones, Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities

Sheltering Tree Burlap Framed Art

Good Morning, Stampers!

I came across this 12"x 12" burlap frame at the store awhile back and just knew a project with the Sheltering Tree stamp set was in order!

WINTER: The tree is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the snowflakes and snow using Whisper White ink and embossed using Whisper White embossing powder. Once cooled, sponge with Soft Sky and Marina Mist inks. The piece is then cut using the Deco Label framelit.
SPRING: Stamp the tree using Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White cardstock cut from the Sizzix Part Pennants die. Stamp the leaves using So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush inks. Stamp the grass in Pear Pizzazz ink and the flowers are stamped using Strawberry Slush ink. The itty bitty flowers are punched from Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock.
SUMMER: The tree is stamped using Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Round the corners using a corner rounder. The BACKSIDE of the leaves image is stamped on the tree using Pear Pizzazz ink. The leaves are stamped on top using Old Olive ink. The grass is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. The little swing is stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink. The sunshine is sponged using So Saffron ink.
FALL: The tree is stamped using Early Espresso ink.The leaves are stamped using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango inks. The rake is stamped in Early Espresso ink. The bike is stamped using Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray inks.Cut the image out using the circle framelits.

The sentiment is stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Trim off the word "friendship". Create the letters using the Simply Press Clay and Alphabet mold. Once dried, Sponge with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Cut the snowflakes from Soft Sky and Marina Mist cardstock. Punch the sweetheart heart from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Cut the leaf from Crushed Curry using the Sizzix Autumn Accents. The butterfly is cut from WhisperWhite cardstock and sponged with Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush. The doily is punched from Early Espresso cardstock.
