Be Mine Faux Stacked Books

 Good Morning, Stampers!

If you've been in to your local dollar tree lately, chances are,
you've seen these cute mini wooden crates. I've seen lots of great
ideas made with these, so I stocked up to have some on hand.

For this project, I added strips of Snail Mail designer papers to
give the look of stacked Valentine-themed books.

It really didn't take much to create this - just a couple of dies and
papers - NO STAMPS! 😮 Just a fun piece to add to
my Valentine decor.

SU!pplies:
Paper: Basic White, Real Red, Snail Mail DSP, Basic Black
Accessories: Playful Alphabet dies, Many Hearts dies, Real Red stitched ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot ribbon, Linen Thread, Real Red Rhinestones, Resin Hearts, Be Mine Stitched Hearts dies, Dainty Dianmonds embossing folder

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop - Non Traditional Valentine

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary design team is back
this week featuring cards created with non-tradtional Valentine colors.

This fun fold has been around for awhile but it's always fun to give
it a try with new patterns and colors.

I combined the Paper Blooms designer papers with the Lots of
Heart stamp set for my Valentine card.

Here is a peek from the inside....pretty patterns and colors
on all sides!

Here is how you can recreate it for yourself:

1. Cut a 5 1/2" x 12" piece of designer paper or card stock.
2. Score along the long edge at 4" and 8".
3. On the right side, make a mark at 3 1/2" up from the bottom.
4. Cut from the 3 1/2" mark all the way over to the top left corner.
5. Accordian fold and decorate as desired!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Lots of Heart
Ink: Night of Navy, Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic White, Night of Navy, Paper Blooms DSP, Petal Pink, Rococo Rose
Accessories: Many Hearts dies, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones, Rococo Rose Scallop trim
Stampin' Blends: Rococo Rose, Night of Navy, Old Olive

Today's project are these sweet little 3" x 3" mini cards/tags.  These are a great size for tucking into gift bags that you can use for any occasion. I'm a big re-user of gift bags so it's particularly handy for me to have a few of these on hand! The nice thing about these is that you can always add them onto a standard size card, too! So many great options - very versatile!
