November Stamp Club

Good Morning, Stampers!

During the Thanksgiving Holiday, we are reminded of all we are thankful for. One of the things I am greatful for is my fellow Demonstrators! I get SO MANY creative, inspiring and truly remarkable ideas from these talented men and woman. I am so lucky to be a part of such a great community of people who love to share their talents!

So, I thought for my projects this month, I would use inspiration that I have found from some very creative stampers - take a look:

March Stamp Club Projects

Good Morning, Stampers!

I had a great time with my Stamp Clubs this past week!

I had come across this adorable little flower "nest" created with the Floral Framelits by Brenda on Stampin' Connection (Stampin' Up!'s Demonstrator-Only website), I dipped these colorful peeps in chocolate, too! These would make a great little addition to the Easter Dinner table as a party favor/place card!

This card is featuring the Creped Filter Paper from page 6 of the Spring Mini Catalog. I ran the paper thru the Sizzix Tasteful Trim die and crumpled it up before adding to the card.

I HAD to get the their hands on the NEW Photopolymer Stamps!

No Peeking!

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a fun project to share with you today! I made one of these for each of my Stamp Club Members at our December meetings this past week. Hopefully it will keep little eyes from peeking while presents are being wrapped!

It began as a piece of craft wood with (2) drilled holes. I created the sentiment on the decorative paper using My Digital Studio. I just printed it out and glued it to the wood using Multi Purpose glue and a brayer (to smooth). I added a ribbon and some jingle bells to the craft wire. Then I stamped the candy cane in Real Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock and cut. The tree is stamped in Gumball Green ink and topped it with a champagne glimmer star. Once all was assembed, I added some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details for a bit of sparkle!

A Stamp Club Exclusive

Good Morning, Stampers!

I had the pleasure of my Stamp Club Members' company this week when we met for our monthly meeting. I love creating exclusive projects just for them! I originally had the idea to create a Fall wreath but soon realized that Thanksgiving is next week and they wouldn't have enough time to enjoy their work as long as I would have liked them to. SO, keeping with the wreath idea, I just switched gears and went for a fun, whimsical Holiday wreath instead.

I found the wreaths at the dollar store here in town and began with (3) Apothecary Accent tags and embossed them with the Northern Flurry, Fancy Fan and Lacy Brcade embossing folders. I added the letters from the Sizzix Typeset in Early Espresso and the little decorations are stamped using the Scentsational Season stamp set and coordinating framelits.

If you would like to join my stamp club, I have NEW rounds starting in January!

Stamp Club Projects

Good Morning, Stampers!

I had the pleasure of hosting my new rounds of Stamp Club this past week! I thought I would share with you the exclusive projects I created just for them!

First of all, I always welcome them back to a new round with a fun little "Thank You" gift!

Not only are these little owl adorable, but they are earrings, too!

Take a peek at the eyes... I simply glued the Large Pearls (125577 $4.95) to the center of the Brights Designer Buttons (119747 $8.95) using Crystal Effects (101055 $6.25) and post earrings from the craft store. They LOVED them!

This first card was created using the Natural Composition Specialty paper (126917 $12.95). Do you see the little blue flower in the center? I cut the flower from the smallest of the Floral Frames Framelits (127012 $26.95) and rubbeed Not Quite Navy ink using a sponge dauber (102892 $10.95/12). The embossing from the paper resists the ink so the natural color comes thru!

This card features our July Promotion - Reason to Smile (w131274 - c131275). You can purchase this stamp set for ONLY $5 with a $50 order only thru July 31st!

If you would like more information on joining my monthly Stamp Club, please contact me!

I had the pleasure of meeting with my Stamp Club Members this week. I look forward to this each month because we have so much fun stamping, mingling, and spending time with each other! Our June meeting was the last for "this round". I really try to do something special for the members at the end of each round to thank them for being a part of the club. Here is the little treat I made for each of them....

Aren't they fun?
I created the insert using the My Digital Studio software (118108 $79.95 full version) or (1124483 $39.95 downloaded). I covered a dry-erase marker using some Designer Series papers and secured them to the frame with a piece of velcro. A fun little way to reminder of your priorities - lol!! :o)

Embedded Image Embossing

Good Morning, Stampers!

I met with my stamp clubs this past week. I love meeting with them and trying out new techniques or ideas that I come across. This technique called Embedded Image Embossing caught my eye immediately. I love the contrast between the soft color background and the bold stamped image. I also gave them a taste of what's coming in the new catalog with the Itty Bitty Bannners stamp set & coordinating Bitty Banners framelits! The framelits make the little banners so easy!

Directions:

1. Using Whisper White cardstock, I lightly sponged Daffodil Delight & Tangerine Tango onto the Sizzix 3" circle (122125 $17.95).

2. Using Versamark, cover the entire circle with the ink. Emboss with clear embossing powder.

3. Repeat step 2.

4. Ink up the silhouette flower image from the My Friend stamp set (w122585 $27.95 - c122587 $19.95) in Versamark ink and emboss using Black embossing powder.

5. As you heat, you will see the two layers merge together and embed into each other.

6. Allow to cool. Adhere to the Basic Black Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 (113469 $19.95)

7. Adhere the DSP (Twitterpated 125406 $10.95) to the card front.

8. Adhere the scallop circle to the card front.

9.   Tie a knot in the Basic Black Scallop Dots Ribbon. Adhere to the scallop circle using a glue dot.

10. Stamp the image from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (available June 1st)in Basic Black ink  and cut with the coordinating Bitty Banners framelits (available June 1st).

11. Adhere to the card front using dimensionals.

12. Adhere a few rhinestones to complete the card.

Mason Jar Gift Set

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a project to share with you today that I created exclusively for my Stamp Club members this week. I really wanted to incorporate the NEW Summer Smooches line not only because you can get it BEFORE the new 2012-2013 Catalog debut, but because it is a fun & cheery product line that I knew they would LOVE!

Take a peek...

I took a mason jar and created a little tag card gift ensemble! The envelopes were created with the Summer Smooches Designer Paper (125409 $10.95). The top of the mason jar was created with the DSP, too! I love how it looks like fabric! The little tag cards were stamped using the Bright Blossoms stamp set (w125495 $16.95 - c125497 $12.95) in coordinating colors. The Daffodil Delight Seam Binding is the perfect summer color for the bow, don't you think?!

All of the products are available now thru April 30th. After that, you will have to wait til the new catalog arrives!

Good Morning, Stampers!

The project I have to share with you today is a sweet little Easter basket I created using little paper treat cups. I found them in the cake decorating section of the craft store. They make great little treats or would be fun at each place setting for Easter dinner..

I started by cutting a piece of Wild Wasabi cardstock 1/2" x 8 1/2" long.. I snipped the paper to form the blades of grass and adhered it to the cup using hot glue.

Next, I punched a strip of 8 1/2" Very Vanilla using the Lace Ribbon Border punch (122362 $19.95) for the handle. Adhere to the basket using hot glue.

Cut a piece of So Saffron cardstock using the Framelits Labels Collection (125598 $26.95). Run the piece thru the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (117335 $7.95).

Stamp an image from the Everybunny stamp set (w122705 $27.95 - c122707 $19.95) onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Color as desired and adhere to the framelit using dimensionals. Adhere to the basket with hot glue.

Punch flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch (119858 $16.95) and the Itty Bitty Shapes punch set (118309 $16.95). (I used So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Wysteria Wonder & Baja Breeze) Finally, add a Basic Pearl (119247 $4.95) to the center of each flower.
Here, you can see I whipped out a few for my Stamp Club swap this month!
