It's the LAST rubberFUNatics Challenge of 2021 and

I'm so glad you are here to join me! Pick 3 and get creating! 

I chose to go with Winter, trees and bling. I also threw in a

simple fun fold, too! I wanted to keep it basic so that it would work

for any occasion or event during the Winter season. 

Here is a close-up of the simple fun fold. I cut a 4 1/4" x 11"

card base and cut off 1/3 of the top flap. It opens like

a dutch door. Just stamp and embellish as you like!

Coin Holder Cards

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I wanted a fun way to gift silver coins to my kids, so I created these cards using the Layering Circle dies. Coins come in so many different sizes so these dies made finding the perfect fit so easy! 

These are standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cards folded at 4 1/4".

I put the fold along the bottom so the flap folds down making it

easy add the circle die so the coins can peek through.

Enjoy your day with family and friends making special memories to cherish for years to come! 

I created this card especially for my rubberFUNatics team members!

It's hard to tell in the photo, but I added Matte Finish

embossing paste along with the Basic Pattern

decorative mask onto the back Simmery White panel. 

Once dried, I tapped Crumb Cake ink

using my Water painter to add speckles over the top of the paste.

The The Evening Everygreen Shimmer Vellum complements

the Shimmery White cardstock nicely - so much shimmer!

Paper Craft Crew eekly Challenge #452

 Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's Paper Craft Crew is a sketch challenge.

Grab some scrap pieces of designer paper and get creating!

I love this sketch! It was so quick and easy to put this together!

Another great way to stretch the use of holiday stamp sets

is to create thank you cards. I colored this jolly ol' St. Nick

with Stampin' Blends and added the "thanks so much" from the 

Ornate Thanks stamp set. This set is filled with every

thank you message you can think of. Definitely a must-have

for your stamp collection!

Control Freaks December Blog Hop - Shine On!

 Hello, Stampers!

Welcome to the Tour de Freaks December blog hop!

Whether you have just arrived from the ever-talented Tami Hewlett's blog 

or just starting out here, The Freaks are here ready to add some 

sparkle and shine to your holidays papercrafting projects!

There are so many fun ways to add sparkle, shimmer and shine

to your projects - and it's not just for the holidays! 

Embossing powders, ribbons and trims, gilding and embellishments

are just a few ways to really add a touch of elegance and glam to any project!

For this card, I embossed the card base using the Merry Melody 

embossing folder and then added a thin layer of Multi-purpose

liquid glue with my fingertip randomly to areas of the embossing

and lightly brushing the gold guilded leafing on top. 

I finished it off with a little gold ribbon, gold gems, gold embossing and gold trim.

These sweet little Simply Classic treat boxes are the perfect

little party favor for any occasion! The brushed gold lid is beautiful

on it's own or just add a small gold-guilded snowflake accent to 

coordinate with the party or event  theme!

Holly Jolly Christmas

I have another fun holiday card to share with you today! This adorable little Santa is bringing his sled full of Christmas magic to you just in time for the holiday season!

 I added the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set by alternating 

the Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write markers to get the two-toned effect. The background is the gorgeous silver foil paper from the Peaceful Place designer series paper pack.

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a simple holiday card to share with you today! It features the Peaceful Deer stamp set and coordinating Deer Builder punch from the mini catalog. It's available thru the end of December at 10% off when you purchase together as a bundle.

Start by stamping the trees onto a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Just Jade card base using Just Jade ink. Next, stamp the deer onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and punch. Stamp the antlers onto Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso ink and punch. Adhere the antlers to the deer and adhere the deer to the center of the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. Next, stamp the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Trim each end to form a banner and adhere below the deer using Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally, Add several sequins randomly as desired to add some sparkle.

Good Morning, Stampers!

The Create with Connie and Mary design team

is back this week with a Thanksgiving and Gratutude theme.

There is still time to get crafting and creating in time for the holiday!

For this card, I painted onto the Merriest Moments

embossed frame using different color inks and a water painter.

Then, I cut it in half and attached the two pieces together before adding

it to the Versamark stamped card base. I finished off the card with a 

sentiment, Linen Thread and a few Champagne Rhinestones.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #449

Welcome back to this week's Paper Craft Crew Challenge!

I love all the little squares on the card sketch - I thought

it is the perfect way to utilize some leftover paper scraps!

I have a hard time tossing any of the Peaceful Place designer paper

scraps - they are all so pretty! This was the perfect sketch

to highlight the warm and cozy feel of these pretty papers!

To finish off the card, 

I added the Wintry embossing folder and basic rhinestones

to give the card a touch of elegance.
