This week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge inspired a cozy, sunshine‑filled creation featuring the Phrases & Frames stamp set. I wanted to capture the feeling of a heartfelt hug — something simple yet full of warmth.

The sketch’s vertical panel gave me the perfect space to show off this sweet Bloom Boutique floral paper. I paired it with a textured background using the NEW Softly Woven embossing folder that adds depth without distraction, and finished it off with crisp decorative edges for a polished touch. The sentiment tag — “Sending You Hugs” — ties everything together with a bit of ribbon and thread, making it feel like a gentle embrace in card form.

The classroom doors are opening, pencils are freshly sharpened, and creativity is in full swing! This week’s Create with Stampin' Friends project celebrates that first‑day excitement with a playful mix of chalkboard charm and notebook nostalgia.

This cheerful back‑to‑school card mixes bright primaries with soft neutrals to create a playful, encouraging vibe. I wanted it to feel like a warm welcome—something a teacher could tuck into a planner or a student could slip into a binder pocket for a little boost.

Faux chalkboard effect: Rub/tap an embossing buddy
over the Basic Black cardstock and stamp the images 
with white craft ink. Let the ink dry completely or heat set.

There’s something enchanting about crafting without color — it forces you to play with dimension, light, and shadow and the results are stunning! The theme for this week's Create with Stampin' Friends is White on White - it's peaceful and timeless - like a breath of fresh air!

The Heirloom Boutique Dies were the perfect starting point. Their delicate florals and leafy silhouettes create a raised, heirloom‑lace effect that instantly adds sophistication.

I die‑cut several of the elements in Basic White, then layered them in a loose bouquet across the Floral Spray embossed card front. By alternating flat pieces with dimensional ones, the arrangement feels airy and organic, like a cluster of pressed blooms!
