A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop-A Sara Thing Kit

Good Morning, Stampers!

EXCITING NEWS! We have an ALL-NEW Blog Hop
featuring the April Paper Pumpkin kit - A Sara Thing!
Whether you are arriving from Dena Rekow's blog or just
starting out, WELCOME! As you continue around the hop,
you will be filled with lots of different ideas
using your April Paper Pumpkin kit!

We were all so thrilled to hear that Sara had taken creative control
for the April kit. We all loved her bold color choice as well
as her own hand-writing on the photopolymer stamps.
AND, if all that wasn't enough, she included a FREE GIFT, too! BONUS!!

So, this hop is geared towards alternative projects created
with the April kit. I loved that the stamp set included teachers
in the sentiments. It is approaching the end of the school year
and the perfect time to get started on teacher gifts!

I created a box from the cards by cutting two cards in
half at 2 3/4". Then, along the long edge, I cut the
pieces to 7". I folded all four pieces on the score lines
and adhere the 2 3/4" squares together to form the
base of the box as shown:

Finally, I brought up the sides of the box and adhered
them with the Basic Black Washi Tape included in the kit
and filled the box with a coordinating flower and supplies.
SO SIMPLE!!

BLOG HOP GIVEAWAY: To be entered into a drawing for a FREE
"A Sara Thing" Paper Pumpkin Kit, you must leave a comment on
EVERY blog. Drawing closes on Saturday, April 29th at 9 PM EST.
The winner will be announced on Monday, May 1, 2017.

 Happie Stampin'!

Kim Smith has created with her kit!

In case you get disconnected along the way, it's easy to jump
right back into the loop!

  31. Hi Melissa, This is my first time on your site. I heard about this Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop from Rick Adkins. But I really like the pen-box you created with A Sara Thing Paper Pumpkin kit. The heart on the box is very pretty because you colored each section a different color. Wow!
