CCMC222 Thursday Color Challenge

Good Morning, Stampers!

I love the color challenge for this week! I always seem to have a hard time with the Summer Starfruit InColor so this was a bit tough for me!

This simple 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" card/tag came together quickly. I added a piece of 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" Summer Starfruit DSP to the card. I ran a piece of Whisper White cardstock thru the BigShot with the Window Frame framelit and then embossed it with the stripes embossing folder. I added (4) brads from the Trinkets collection and adhered it to the card. On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the tree from the Christmas Wishes stamp set in Gumball Green and the trunk in Chocolate Chip ink. I cut the pieces out and added them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I punched the star from Summer Starfruit cardstock using the Itty Bitty Star punch. After running it thru the Bigshot with the Square Lattice embossing folder, I added the star to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional. Lastly, I tied a piece of Whisper White stitched ribbon in a bow to finish the card off.

SUpplies:
Stamps: Christmas Wishes
Ink: Gumball Green, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit DSP
Accessories: Stripes embossing folder, Square Lattice embossing folder, Vintage Trinket brads, Whisper White stitched ribbon, Window Frame framelit.

Happy Stampin'!
~Melissa

Cute card! I'm glad to see someone use that set. I can't even remember if I already have it. I was thinking of using it for tags but I like the little square cards too.
    Thanks for sharing!
