Tour de Freaks August Blog Hop - Holiday Catalog

Hello, Stampers!

So glad you could join us in the August Control Freaks
Blog Hop! This month, we are celebrating the NEW Holiday Catalog!

When I saw the Cookie Cutter Suite, I immediately fell in love!
There is a Christmas and Halloween set that has a coordinating punch, too!

I took a basic chalkboard easel and added some Real Red Glitter embossing
powder with Versamark ink and a sponge. SO SPARKLY!

My first project is a Countdown to Christmas chalkboard.
The little banner images were stamped and colored with a blender pen and the
sweet little gingerbread house was cut directly from the Candy Cane Lane designer
series paper. A touch of Dazzling Diamonds glitter really compliments
the glitter embossing powder nicely!
A fun way for kids to get ready for the "big day"!

This adorable scarecrow was colored using blender pens
and added to the Tip Top Taupe doily. The warm feel
of the card was created using the Cable Knit embossing folder -
look at that detail!
The best part of Stampin' Up! products are how versatile they
can be! Mixing and matching supplies allows
for endless possibilities!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas, Cookie Cutter Halloween
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie,

Oh, Melissa, your countdown calendar is adorable and so clever! And the scarecrow card is so cute and sweet. Love the way you combined the Thinlits greeting with the one that came in the stamp set.
