Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop - Very Vellum

Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary's Blog Hop
where we are designing with vellum!

The only downside to vellum is it is really hard to photograph!
Believe me when I say stamping on vellum is gorgeous!
This image was stamped onto vellum using Versamark ink and embossed
with white embossing powder. Then, I colored the backside
of the image using markers. When you turn it over
to the front side, it looks like beautiful stained glass!

A little close-up of the card shows the Striped Scallop
thinlit attached to the card front before adding the vellum.
See the little white accent in the corner? I adhered the vellum to the card
with one glue dot in each corner and then covered the
glue dots with the little White Perfect Accent dots. Shhhh!

Here's what it looks like when you color the backside of the vellum.
Not as pretty, huh?! I colored the entire flower with the Rose Red
marker and then highlighted a few petals with Cherry Cobbler.
For the leaves, I started with Old Olive all over the leaves and then
accented with the Mossy Meadow marker.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Rose Wonder
Ink: Versamark, Archival Basic Gray
Paper: Whisper White, Vellum
Accessories: White Perfect Accents, Gold Thread, Rose Garden thinlits, White embossing powder, heat tool

Happie Stampin!
