Control Freaks - January LoVe

Good Morning, Stampers!

LOVE is definitely in the air for the Control Freaks this month and we are all excited to share our projects with you! If you are arriving from Deb Currier's ARTfelt Impression blog, you have arrived successfully! If you are just starting here, continue to follow along with us - we have lots of inspiration to share with you!

The first project I created features the new Mini Treat Bag thinlits, What is not to love about a set of thinlits that have so many possibilites?! Lots of "bang for your buck" with this set for sure!

This treat bag was designed especially for those who attended my Sale-A-Brate the Occasions Open House this month. A little special "thank you for coming"....

SU!pplies:
Paper: Typeset DSP, Real Red, Basic Black
Accessories: Mini Treat Bag Thinlit, Window Sheets, Silver Baker's Twine, Handheld Stapler

My second project was inspired by a Valentine decoration I saw while shopping a few weeks ago. The piece was made with dried flowers in the shape of a heart so I thought I would give it a try on a card!

I used a large heart framelit and traced the shape onto the card. It made it so easy to line up all the little flowers! The White Jute ribbon has fabulous texture and compliments the flowers nicely. Definitely a hand-delivered card!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Dictionary, You Plus Me
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red
Accessories: Itty Bitty Accents Flower punch, White Signo Uniball gel pen, White Jute Ribbon, Confetti Heart punch

Love how you used the heart framelit for a pattern for lining up the little flowers. It made for a very nice card.

Both of your projects are very sweet! I especially like the darling flower heart-- so delicate and pretty with the sentiment inside!
