Tour de Freaks June Blog Tour!

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to the June Tour de Freaks Blog Tour! If you are touring, you have just arrived from Debbie Henderson's blog, Debbie's Designs.  This girl continously amazes me with her incredible talent!

So, the theme for this month is all about the NEW CATALOG
and I have two projects to share with you featuring some of my top picks!

The first is this sweet little flower treat created using the Sizzix Flower Frenzy die.
So simple to create using (2) of the large flowers (Strawberry Slush and Wild Wasabi)
and a strip of 1/2" x 4" cardstock. (Wild Wasabi)
The little flower embellishment is also a part of the die. (Whisper White and So Saffron)
It is finished off with some Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine.
Reminds me a bit of a lily pad!

The second project is a card with a faux petina technique.
It features the new Lovely Lace embossing folder, some acrylic paint and simple swipes of
Crumb Cake and Crisp Cantaloupe Classic ink pads. It is topped off with a few swipes
of the Encore Gold ink pad for a touch of shimmer. The little Crisp cantaloupe flowers were            embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder and punched using scallop circle punches.

Next stop on the tour is the ever-so-talented Leeann Greff at Flowerbug's Inkspot
Thanks for hoppin' by!
Happy Stampin'!

Fun flower treat holder!! So creative! Gold is definitely the new "it" color and you have displayed it beautifully on your card.

I love the little flower basket, but also love the faux petina card. Can you tell how you did that. I love the look of it. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
