CCMC Color Challenge #304

Good Morning, Stampers!

I LOVE the color challenge this week from Create with Connie and Mary!
Soft, Subtle and warm are just a few words that come to my mind when I
saw this. What a perfect pallate for a baby, don't you think?

Since the blues/browns are a little more on the masculine side, I
decided to add some flowers to balance out the feminine side.

After adding the 1"squares to the card panel, I ran the panel thru the Big Shot with
the Honeycomb embossing folder to add a little texture to the "quilt".

Be sure to visit Create with Connie and Mary to see all
of the designer creations for this week!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Something To Say
Ink: Versamark, Basic Gray
Paper: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Moonlight Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Chalk Talk framelits, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, Honeycomb embossing folder

Happy Stampin'!
~Melissa

I love these colors too! But I really love the way you created the background for your card. What a great way to use scraps and to add texture.

These are the perfect colors for a quilted card! I love that you used DSP for the squares. And the flowers are just gorgeous, perfect finishing touch!

I just love the quilt-look you've created with the DSP and the embossing is a perfect touch! This would be such a great baby card; I can see it for a precious new baby boy especially!!
