Card "Create"tions Blog Hop!

Good Morning, Stampers!

Have we got a treat for YOU! We are kicking off the Create with Connie and Mary Card "Create"tions with a Design Team Blog Hop! This will give you a little taste of what you will be seeing in the newest edition! At the bottom of this post, you will see the link to the next blog, just click it and continue on with the fun!

During Week #1, I will be featuring this stamp set Peaceful Petals.
To see the entire set design, you will need to be a subscriber!
Don't miss out on all the fabulous card ideas!

To recreate this card:
1. Cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to 3 1/2 x 11" .
2. Stamp the Dictionary background stamp in Whisper White ink onto the Crumb Cake cardfront. (*Note - I inked it randomly so that the stamped image looks "worn".)
3..Snip and adhere a 3 1/4" piece of Natural Chevron ribbon to the right side of the card.
4. Stamp (2) large flowers and (1) small flower onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using Whisper White ink. Cut out one large flower and the second large flower, just the center. Cut the small flower as well.
5. Adhere the flowers to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. (Note* The card is cut smaller to allow the flowers to hang off the edges just a bit.)
6. Stamp the leaf images onto Always Artichoke cardstock using Whisper White ink. Cut all of the leaves and adhere to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. (Note* The card is cut smaller to allow the leaves to hang off the edges just a bit.)
7. Stamp the sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink (Note* the Stamp-a-ma-jig works great here!)
8. Gently adhere glue dots randomly onto the card front.
9. Sprinkle the glue dots with Gold Stampin' Glitter and tap off excess.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Peaceful Petals, Dictionary
Ink: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Alway Artichoke
Accessories: Gold Stampin' Glitter, Glue Dots, Natrual Chevron Ribbon

Happy Stampin'!
~Melissa

Wow Melissa, the red looks great in the forefront of the Crumb Cake and you are so patient with all of the fussy-cutting!

I just love cards that have the kraft looking card base and Crumb Cake is perfect for that. The red flowers just shine against the card base I love this card.

Beautiful card, Melissa! I especially love the tip about randomly stamping the Dictionary image to make it look vintage.

Your card is absolutely beautiful. I love how showed us this stampset doesn't always have to be colored in. I would have never thought of that.
