CCMC Sketch Challenge #255

Good Morning, Stampers!

The creative team of Create with Connie and Mary have given us a simple and quick layout to play along with for this week's Sketch Challenge #255!

Believe it or not, my card started out exactly to the proportions of the sketch, however, once I kept going, things took a different turn - lol!

Has that ever happened to you? One of the things I love about sketches is that they are a guide to follow but once your creative juices get going, there is no way to know what your end result will be!

I stamped the flowers using Jet Black Stazon ink. I colored the flowers using a blender pen with Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango and Summer Starfruit inks. Looks time-consuming, but really did go quickly!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Flower Garden, From My Heart
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit, Jet Black Stazon, Soft Suede
Paper: Soft Suede, Summer Starfruit, very Vanilla
Accessories: Vanilla Seam Binding, Designer Label Punch, Blender Pen, Quatrefancy DSP, First Edition DSP, Basic Pearls

Take a peek over a Create with Connie and Mary to see all of the designers creations. While your there, why not subscribe to the ALL NEW Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection! It's early bird time - take advantage of the special rate! All of your favorite designers are busy creating incredible projects to share with you!

Happy Stampin'!

I love how you made your own magazine page by stamping and coloring the flowers onto the DSP. I'm really sad the First Edition paper is gone! This is a beautiful sample!

Gorgeous as usual! You always have an amazing card. I love how you stamped and colored flowers on the newsprint, very clever!
