This was my swap from our meeting. I came across these cute little hats at the dollar store here in town. I added the wooden skewer with a little glob of hot glue to hold in place. Makes a fun center piece or place setting!

Leprechaun Fun

Good Morning, Stampers!

We met yesterday for our monthly RubberFUNatics downline meeting. One of the highlights is of course, swapping! I look forward to seeing all of the creative ideas that everyone comes up with. It really brings out their personal style and creativity!

This adorable project - Leprechaun "Poop" was created by Rachel (my daughter as well as my downline :o). Is this little owl not the cutest little leprechaun you've ever seen?

March Framed Art - 2 Ways

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have the March Framed Art to share with you today! "Welcome Spring" is the theme and I thought the Sizzix Elegant Bird (125593 $21.95) is just perfect for this. I incorporated the Fresh Vintage stamp set (w125115 - c125117) and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (126154) from the Sale-A-Bration brochure - they all work so well together, don't you think? If you click the photo, you can enlarge it to see the detail in the background. I added the image from the Fresh Vintage in Versamark ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder for a subtle but elegant look to the background.

I have a few customers who prefer to do scrapbook pages instead of the Framed Art. I simply took the basic layout from the framed art and used it on (2) 12"x 12" pieces of Baja Breeze cardstock. So versatile and easy to accomodate all papercrafters!

It's FRIDAY! And a snowy one at that! Actually, it looks like a Christmas card outside - it is so beautiful!

Today's Fast & Fabulous card is an easy one to duplicate. It features the Doily Triple Layer punch (122465 $23.95) and the Delicate Doily Stamp set (w125590 $21.95 - c125592 $16.95).

Normally when you punch, you stamp your image first. It is so much easier to line up your image where you want it. However, in this case, it is difficult to line up your image with the doily punch because you can't see where your image is from the backside. So, I simply punched the piece out first and carefully laid it on top of the stamp:

Easy peasy! Punch (4) pieces and stamp in the following colors: Wysteria Wonder, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Baja Breeze. I adhered them to the card using dimensionals. The sesntiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (w122650 $32.95 - c122652 $24.95) and stamped in Basic Gray. A rhinestone tops each one for a little "bling"!

I have fallen in LOVE again! Shhh... don't tell my husband...That seems to happen every time a new catalog comes out - lol! Hippitty, Hoppitty, Easter's On It's Way...

Good Morning, Stampers!

Easter falls earlier this year, so I am getting a head-start on my projects. Today's project I created as a "thank-you" for my customer orders this month.

I began with the large oval from the Sizzix Ovlas die (114525 $15.95) on Very Vanilla cardstock.. I stamped the bunny image from the Everybunny stamp set (w122705 $27.95 - c122707 $19.95) in Early Espresso ink. I colored the image using the Watercolor Pencils (101879 $19.95). I finished it off with a few little flowers & pearls as well as a little sparkle with the Dazzling Details (124117 $2.50).

This can be used as a tag for an Easter Basket, added to the front of a card, or for any other Easter papercrafting project!

Did you know that the Stampin' Up! homepage is filled with TONS of great ideas? I came across this tag/bookmark idea and decided to use this as one of my FREE STAMP projects for the month. I love the Crumb Cake/Whisper White combination! Take a moment to check out the great papercraft projects! View the projects here

Here is how to create this fast & fabulous tag/bookmark:

Instructions:

1. Stamp the Always Elegant (w116976 $14.95 - c120477 $11.95) in Whisper White onto the Crumb Cake tag. Tear along the bottom

2. Layer a piece of First Edition Specialty paper (121878 $12.95) on top.

3. On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the scallop border and tiny flower in Crumb Cake ink. Cut a "v" in the bottom.

4. Stamp the initial from the Monogram Sweet ABC set (115462 ($31.95) in Chocolate Chip ink.

5. Adhere all of the pieces together placing a hole in the top of the tag/bookmark. Tie a piece of Crumb Cake seam binding (122332 $6.95) to secure.

6. Punch 3 small flowers from Chocolate Chip cardstock and the flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch set (118309 $16.95).

7. Adhere to the tag/bookmark and add pearls(119247 $4.95) to the flower centers.

Last Minute Valentine

Good Evening, Stampers!

It is 10:15pm. The last of my Stamp Club members has just left for the evening. My soon-to-be 17 year old comes and asks me if I can come help him make a Valentine card for his girlfriend. Of course, this is a once-in-a-lifetime request, so I agree to help him... He didn't do too bad! Take a look:

Step 1: Run the paper doily thru the Big Shot.

Step 2: Ink up the Mixed Bunch flower in Real Red ink and carefully punch with the coordinating punch...

Step 3: Line the image up & punch the image out.

Step 4: Stamp a sentiment. Step 5: Adhere the pieces to the card.

Step 6: Proudly show off your masterpiece!

Not too bad!! I hope she likes it!

Weekly 3/$5 - All Occasion

Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's theme for my 3/$5 class is All Occasion. The cards I created can be used for just about any occasion. You will have the option to select the sentiments as shown or choose one of your own to customize your cards.

Fast & Fabulous Friday!

Good Morning, Stampers!

I found this simple idea while browsing Pinterest not too long ago. What a fun idea for a child's Valentine treat! Best of all, you can make this is UNDER 5 MINUTES!!

1. Begin with a strip of Whisper White cardstock measuring 1 1/2" x 6".
2. Along the bottom of the strip, punch the Pinking Hearts border (117649 $15.95).
3. Fold the strip in half and stamp the Valentine sentiment from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (w122650 $32.95 - c122652 $24.95) in Real Red ink.
4. Tie a piece of 1/8" real Red Taffeta ribbon along the fold.
5. Lay 3 Pixie Stix along the fold and glue the flag closed.
6. Snip a "v" along the right side.

7. Punch a small heart (117193 $5.95) from the Red Glimmer paper (121790 $4.95) and adhere it to the pennant.

I love how you can really personalize the stamp set You're My Type (w125564 $17.95 - c125650 $13.95). I chose to use Blushing Bride, Basic Black & Very Vanilla along with a little shabby-edged Blushing Bride 1/2" poly-stitched ribbon (119267 $9.95) for a "vintage-feel"..

A Gnomely Leprechaun

Top 'o the Mornin', Stampers!


I had so much fun creating this card for an upcoming class! The Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set (w126535 $27.95 - c126537 $21.95) paired with the a la carte stamp Happy St. Patricks (125457 - $7.95) make a perfect match for the wearin' of the green!

Mini Frame Art

Good Morning, Stampers!

I came across these mini acrylic appetizer plates (3"x 3") at the party store during the holidays. Honestly, how much can one fit on a tiny plate of this size? Not a whole lot, so I decided to repurpose them. I embellished them with everything Valentine thinking they would be fun on a tiny plate stand or with a magnet on the backside for hanging.... This was my 3d swap from Leadership...

I have a fun & fast project to share with you today. Get a little head-start on your luck-'o-the Irish project for St. Patrick's Day!

Directions:

1. Run a piece of Wild Wasabi cardstock thru the Sizzix Scallop Envelope (113462 $21.95).
2. Emboss the lower half (everything but the flap) using the Stripes embossing folder (FREE during Sale-A-Bration!)
3. Assemble the envelope by folding the side flaps in and the bottom flap up. Adhere with Multi-purpose liquid craft glue.
4. Tie a piece of Wild Wasabi 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon around the entire envelope using Whisper White Baker's Twine (124262 $2.95).
5. Stamp the Happy St. Patrick's a la carte stamp (125457 $7.95) in Wild Wasabi onto Whisper White cardstock.
6. Punch with the Decorative Label punch (120907 $16.95) and adhere to the envelope using dimensionals.
7. Fill with your favorite candy treat!
