CCMC HOL3

Good Morning, Stampers!
Today is another creative challenge from Create with Connie and Mary! This past week's Holiday Edition has been a lot of fun! I am amazed at how clever the Designer's have been with the projects they created using the kits from the Mini Catalog! I am so inspired to get going on my Holiday gifts!

Of course, the only way to see the projects is to subscribe! Head on over to Create with Connie and Mary. It is not too late! You will still get access to ALL of the projects we have shown so far as well as the projects that are still to come!

This weeks theme has been all about the kits. Today's challenge is to make a favor using the kits. I was asked to create an ornament to use as party favors for a local Woman's group for the upcoming Holidays. I made the paper flowers for the snowflake using the Snow Festival Tags.

I began by running the Snow Flurry Sizzix die with a heavy piece of chipboard (from the glimmer paper package) and the Champagne glimmer paper. I adhered them together using the Multi-purpose liquid glue and let them dry.

I punched (5) 1 1/4" scallop circles from the tags and (5) flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch and spritzed them all lightly with water. I layered the scallop circles, punched a 1/16" hole in the center and inserted a brad. Then I scrunched them all up and carefully pulled them out a bit. Once I got it to look the way I liked, I let it dry completely. I repeated the same steps for the small flower.

I adhered them as well as the leaf from the Sizzix Little Leaves using hot glue.

SUpplies:
Stamps: Petite Pairs
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Champagne Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Chipboard, hot glue, Snow Festival Tags, Sizzix Little Leaves, Sizzix Snow Flurry

Happy Stampin'!

This is absolutely darling, Melissa! My tree is all snowmen/snowflakes, so I'll definitely be making these to add to my decorations! Wonderful idea!
