Yummy Treat

Good Morning, Stampers!

I tucked this little (ok, large) candybar into my sister's birthday box & shipped it off to her yesterday. A caramel - filled Cadbury treat to celebrate her day! Almost looks too good to eat!
I can not tell you how old this DSP is. One of the "firsts" from my early demo-days! Yes, I am a paper hoarder - lol! Happy Stampin!

Fast & Fabulous Friday

Today's Fast & Fabulous Friday project is in honor of Memorial Day. A simple card with texture & dimension...
1. Cut 2 each of Real Red & Not Quite Navy card stock in 1 x 5 1/4 " strips.
2. Texture strips with Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder (117335). Adhere to card.
3. Stamp Land of the Free stamp (123100 $8.95) using Real Red & Not Quite Navy markers onto 1 3/4" x 3" Whisper White.
4. Texture 2" x 3 1/4" Whisper White cardstock using Polka Dot embossing folder.
5. Adhere stamped image & adhere to card using dimensionals.

3/$5 Class - All Occasion Cards

Good Morning, Stampers!

I just think the new stamp set Swirls & Curls Verses from the Summer Mini Catalog (Level 1 Hostess) is so cute that I decided to use that as my basis for this week's 3/$5 class - All Occasion Cards. The five sentiments included in the set make it so versatile for any occasion!

Look closely at my cards.. Do you see a difference in the stamps? I never seem to have enough general sentiments, so very carefully, I cut out the images from the sentiments using a craft knife! I think this makes the sentiments even more versatile! Of course, you can always use your markers directly onto the stamps if you prefer :o)

Fast & Fabulous Friday

I have a Fast & Fabulous & oh, so easy card to share with you today! I LOVE the new Flower Garden textured embossing folder (123113 $7.95) from the Summer Mini Catalog! I simply colored the raised image with my Classic Ink pads & sponge daubers (102892 $10.95/12). So soft looking, don't you think?

Add color to the raised image by gently coloring in a circular motion. Be sure to keep a light touch!

Embossed Wedding

I had such a great time at Cindi's workshop last night! What a great group of ladies! THANKS, CINDI!! Cindi had requested a wedding card for her party so this is what her and her guests made..

The card feature's lots of embossing. First the Framed Tulips embossing folder (121809 $7.95) for the edge of the card. Then, I cut three pieces of Whisper White cardstock in graduated lengths and rounded the corners for the wedding cake. The Elegant Lines embossing folder (119277 $7.95) has perfect detail for the cake, don't you think? The card is finished off with little Whisper White flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack (118309 $16.95) and topped off with Basic Rhinestones (119246 $4.95). The Tiny Tags stamp set (w118091 $22.95 - c118592 $16.95) and coordinating Jewelry Tag punch (117190 $10.95) add the perfect finishing touch!
